Text is translated from the source language to the target language to form translated text in response to a user input, containing the text in a source language. The text is entered through a computer interface in the data processing system. The translated text is inserted into a user interface of the software program to be tested to form inserted, translated text. The software program is written using the target language. A determination is made as to whether the software program functions correctly using the inserted, translated text.

Abstract: A robotic system that includes a remote controlled robot. The robot may include a camera, a monitor and a holonomic platform all attached to a robot housing. The robot may be controlled by a remote control station that also has a camera and a monitor. The remote control station may be linked to a base station that is wirelessly coupled to the robot. The cameras and monitors allow a care giver at the remote location to monitor and care for a patient through the robot. The holonomic platform allows the robot to move about a home or facility to locate and/or follow a patient.

Abstract: An irrigation control system and method for controlling irrigation based on weather data. Weather data such as wind, temperature, solar radiation, humidity, and rainfall, may be collected at one or more weather stations for a region. The weather data may be compiled on a computer and transmitted to a paging broadcast service. The weather data may then be transmitted by the paging broadcast service to controller interfaces associated with irrigation systems throughout the region. The controller interfaces may adjust irrigation controllers associated with the irrigation systems based on the weather data such that the proper amount of water is applied. This allows the water to be used more efficiently and the health of the landscape to be improved.

The content is parsed for a selected indicator. The data processing system is queried to identify accessibility requirements in response to the selected indicator being present. The identified accessibility requirements are sent to the computer. These accessibility requirements are use by the computer to generate content for the data processing system.

Abstract: System and method for thin projection display systems. An embodiment comprises a light source, an array of light modulators optically coupled to the light source, a lensed mirror optically coupled to the array, and a controller electronically coupled to the array and to the light source. The array produces images on a display plane by modulating light from the light source based on image data and the controller provides light commands to the light source and load image data into the array. The lensed mirror reflects modulated light from the array onto the display plane, the lensed mirror comprising a refractive portion and a reflective portion. The refractive portion of the lensed mirror helps to increase the light bending capability to help reduce the overall thickness of a projection display system.

Abstract: An approach to identifying and measuring adherence to software development requirements is presented. A software agent provides a user with product and technical questions. In turn, the user provides product and technical answers, or attributes, which are stored in a repository. A globalization plan generator uses the product and technical attributes to generate a software development plan. In addition, a globalization verification test generator uses the globalization plan to generate a test plan and measure the success of the software product based upon the test plan.

The apparatus performs the review, material removal and material deposition operations along the same optical axis. The apparatus includes, in part, a camera, a pair of lenses, and one or more lasers. A first lens is used to focus the camera along the optical axis on a structure formed on the target substrate undergoing review. The first lens is also used to focus the laser beam on the structure to remove a material present thereon if the reviewed structure is identified as requiring material removal.

Abstract: A compression molding system and method, including a mold set and one or more hydraulic cylinders that create a self-aligning and self-activating operating unit. The hydraulic cylinders can include a combination of activation and clamping cylinders. The mold set includes a first and second mold section and a source of heat is provided to heat the mold set. The mold sections are constructed of individual plates or bar stock, and machined to define a mold cavity. Reinforcement plates can be attached to the mold sections and add structure and integrity to the system. A computer control system interprets data from the activation hydraulic cylinders and monitors and controls hydraulic fluid flow into and out of each cylinder and a pumping system pumps hydraulic fluid into and out of the chambers within the activation and clamping cylinders.

A client-side component invokes the globalization Web services by creating a SOAP request including specific parameters in passing that request to a server-side component. The server side component creates a result that is passed back to the client side component.

Abstract: Targeted electronic content delivery control systems and methods are disclosed. All communication traffic exchanged with a communication network subscriber over an access communication link that enables the subscriber to access electronic content is monitored, and behavioral information indicative of behavior of the subscriber in using the access communication link is collected from the monitored communication traffic. A behavioral profile of the subscriber is maintained based on the behavioral information. Delivery of targeted electronic content to the subscriber for presentation with electronic content accessed by the subscriber is controlled based on the behavioral profile.

Abstract: An absorbent paper sheet is treated with an aqueous wax dispersion such that the sheet includes a fused wax and emulsifier residue in an amount of from about 1 to about 20 weight percent of the sheet based on the combined weight of the fiber, wax residue and an emulsifier residue in the sheet. The fused wax emulsion operates to make at least one surface of the sheet laterally hydrophobic, exhibiting a moisture penetration delay of at least about 2 seconds and less than about 40 seconds as well as a typical contact angle with water at one minute of at least about 50 degrees. There is thus provided absorbent products which exhibit both absorbency and resistance to moisture penetration. The treated sheet further exhibits microbial barrier properties, impeding transfer of bacteria, for example, through the sheet. There are produced tissue products which resist moisture penetration from propelled liquids as well as sequester sorbed liquids in the interior of the tissue.
