  • Publication number: 20210039621
Abstract: A parking brake system is disclosed and includes one or more pressure transducers that monitor the fluid pressure of the parking brake system and a brake selection device configured to indicate the parking brake system is either in an engaged state or a disengaged state. The parking brake system includes one or more processors and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the parking brake system to determine the fluid pressure of the parking brake system is less than a threshold pressure. In response to determining the fluid pressure of the parking brake system is less than the threshold pressure, the parking brake system instructs the brake selection device to indicate the parking brake system is in the disengaged state.

  • Publication number: 20200407049
Abstract: A brake system for a vehicle is disclosed and includes an energy storage device configured to store and discharge energy, a plurality of wheels, one or more processors operatively coupled to the energy storage device, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the brake system to determine the brake system is operating in a backup mode of operation. In response to determining the brake system is operating in the backup mode of operation, the brake system calculates a dynamic slip of the plurality of wheels. The brake system is caused to determine a slip error by comparing the dynamic slip with a target slip value of the plurality of wheels. The brake system is also caused to calculate an antiskid command based on the slip error.

  • Publication number: 20200407050
Abstract: A brake system for a vehicle is disclosed and includes an energy storage device configured to store and discharge energy, a plurality of wheels having an observer wheel, one or more processors operatively coupled to the energy storage device, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the brake system to determine the brake system is operating in a backup mode of operation. In response to determining the brake system is operating in the backup mode of operation, the brake system is caused to apply a first brake pressure command to the observer wheel. In response to determining the observer wheel is starting the skid condition, the brake system is caused to determine a second brake pressure command based on a target slip value.

  • Publication number: 20180181704
Abstract: During a feature-selection technique, an electronic device calculates combinations of features and noise vectors, where a given combination corresponds to a given feature and a given noise vector. Then, the electronic device determines statistical associations between information specifying types of events and the combinations, where a given statistical association corresponds to the types of events and a given combination. Moreover, the electronic device identifies a noise threshold associated with the combinations. Next, for a group of combinations having statistical associations equal to or greater than the noise threshold, the electronic device selects a subset of the features based at least in part on a first aggregate property of the group of combinations, where the first aggregate property comprises numbers of occurrences of the features in the group of combinations.

Abstract: Provided herein, inter alia, are isolated antibodies that bind an extracellular domain of a human SIRP-? v1 polypeptide (e.g., the D1 domain), an extracellular domain of a human SIRP-? v2 polypeptide, or both. In some embodiments, the antibodies also bind an extracellular domain of a monkey SIRP-? polypeptide, an extracellular domain of a mouse SIRP-? polypeptide, an extracellular domain of a human SIRP-? polypeptide, and/or an extracellular domain of a human SIRP-? polypeptide. In some embodiments, the antibodies block or do not binding between an extracellular domain of a human SIRP-? polypeptide and an IgSF domain of a human CD47 polypeptide, while in some embodiments, the antibodies reduce the affinity of a human SIRP-? polypeptide for binding an IgSF domain of a human CD47 polypeptide. Further provided herein are methods, polynucleotides, vectors, and host cells related thereto.

  • Patent number: 9904659
Abstract: An apparatus determines patterns of occurrence of compound variables based on a set of mathematical interactions and patterns of occurrence of a set of electrical signals. Then, the apparatus calculates statistical relationships corresponding to a pattern of occurrence of neural activity of one or more organisms and the patterns of occurrence of the compound variables. Moreover, the apparatus determines numbers of occurrences of electrical signals that were used to determine compound variables in at least a statistically significant subset of the compound variables, and determines numbers of different mathematical interactions that were used to determine the compound variables in the subset for the electrical signals that are associated with the corresponding numbers of occurrences. Next, the apparatus identifies one or more of the electrical signals as one or more association variables based on the numbers of occurrences and/or the numbers of different mathematical interactions.

  • Patent number: 8811424
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code to receive data from a source at a plurality of gateways for distribution using a selected priority. The data is transmitted from the plurality of gateways to a plurality of receivers using the selected priority. Every gateway in the plurality of gateways has an adaptive bandwidth control process and a respective set of parameters for controlling the adaptive bandwidth control process for sending the data at the selected priority. Transmission of the data from each gateway for the selected priority has a different impact on other traffic at different gateways in the plurality gateways for the selected priority when different values are set for the set of parameters for the different gateways.

  • Publication number: 20130211848
Abstract: After receiving information specifying an occurrence of a temporal onset of an episodic manifestation of a chronic disease in an individual during a time interval, a question and associated categorical answers about exposure of the individual to a potential trigger of the episodic manifestation are provided. Note that the categorical answers include time intervals, and both the time interval and the time intervals correspond to a first temporal sampling rate. If an answer to the question specifies one of the time intervals that is the same as the time interval, another question and additional associated categorical answers about the exposure of the individual to the potential trigger of the episodic manifestation are provided.
