Abstract: A method of reducing nicotine cravings is described. The method includes inhalation of a dry powder formulation containing a dose of nicotine by a subject seeking nicotine cravings reduction. The formulation includes amounts and concentrations of nicotine that are significantly lower than cigarettes or nicotine replacement therapies.

Abstract: The present invention provides dry powder formulations comprising nicotine, methods of using the same, and methods for making the same. The dry powder formulations may further comprise excipients, therapeutic agents, and flavor components. The dry powder formulations may be manufactured by dry processes and wet processes.

Abstract: This invention relates to nicotine microparticles formulations made with the help of a diketopiperazine compound, in particular fumaryl diketopiperazine (FDKP). The invention relates to the various types of microparticles that can be made, in particular nicotine-coated and nicotine-loaded microparticles. The invention further relates to the various methods that can be used in making the microparticles. One particular method involves making FDKP microparticles which are further surface-coated with nicotine. Another particular method involves mixing nicotine with FDKP2? and/or FDKP and then forming microparticles which contain nicotine throughout their volume. The invention also relates to the use of this microparticles in tobacco related therapies, such as tobacco replacement or tobacco withdrawal.

Abstract: A method, system, computer program product, and related business methods for phased rollout of an upgraded version of a web-based business information system are described. URLs associated with client requests remain the same even where the target subscriber accounts have been upgraded. Client requests for both upgraded and non-upgraded accounts are received by a common set of web servers. Client requests representing external entry points are trapped, and the receiving web server accesses a login router database to determine whether the target subscriber account is upgraded or non-upgraded, and then transfers the request to an appropriately-versioned application server. Application server sets are mapped to database sets according to system version, allowing the upgraded system database schema to be substantially different than the non-upgraded database schema. An early adopter program business method leveraging the abilities of such web-based business information system is also described.

The system employs both local and remote databases to retrieve information relating to the extracted musical work data. Abstract: A network processing device provides a novel architecture for conducting firewall and other network interface management operations. In another aspect of the invention, a Unified Policy Management (UPM) architecture uses a same memory and processing structure to integrate firewall policy management with routing and switching decisions. In another embodiment, a Reconfigurable Semantic Processor (RSP) uses a parser to identify different syntactic elements that are then used by one or more Semantic Processing Units (SPUs) to carry out different firewall, network interface, routing, switching, and other packet processing operations.

The search interface is provided as part of the portable storage media to serve as a front end interface for identification and retrieval of desired content, stored on the portable media. The provision of customized content in association with a corresponding search interface enhances the operational efficiency of a production platform during the content editing and creation stages.
