A system is also provided for performing one or more steps of the method. The insert comprises an elongated body having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a longitudinal axis extending centrally therethrough and intersecting the upper and lower surfaces. The upper surface comprises a bearing surface for supporting for the drill bit and providing a surface on which the subterranean formation being drilled rubs against the insert without exceeding the compressive strength of the selected formation. The insert is coupled to the blade such that the upper surface thereof extends radially beyond an outer surface of the blade and the lower surface thereof extends radially below the outer surface of the blade.

    Abstract: A golf tee tethering assembly for inhibiting a rubber mat tee from flying away during golf practice includes a rubber mat tee that is positionable on a rubber golfing mat to have a golf ball positioned thereon for striking. A washer is positioned around the rubber mat tee and a tether is coupled to the washer. A fastener is coupled to the tether on an opposite end of the tether from the ring. The fastener releasably engages a shaft of a golf club such that the rubber mat tee is retained on the golf club. The golf club is laid on the rubber golf mat and the rubber mat tee is positioned at a chosen spot on the rubber golf mat. Thus, the tether inhibits the rubber mat tee from flying away when the golf ball is struck from the rubber mat tee.

    Abstract: A synchronous packet-processing pipeline whose data paths are populated with data-plane stateful processing units (DSPUs) is provided. A DSPU is a programmable processor whose operations are synchronous with the dataflow of the packet-processing pipeline. A DSPU performs every computation with fixed latency. Each DSPU is capable of maintaining a set of states and perform its computations based on its maintained set of states. The programming of a DSPU determines how and when the DSPU updates one of its maintained states. Such programming may configure the DSPU to update the state based on its received packet data, or to change the state regardless of the received packet data.

A camera is positioned to capture images of the treated thread after it passes through an outlet of the thread printer. The system processes the images to determine whether the location of a selected segment of the treated thread corresponds to an expected location. If the actual location of the selected segment corresponds to the expected location, the system will continue instructing the thread printer to selectively apply the colored coatings to the thread according to the pattern. However, if the actual location does not correspond to the expected location, the system will modify the pattern so that thread printer adjusts the size of one or more segment to automatically account for the misalignment.
