The UAV detects the DLI and positions the item at or near the DLI as part of the item delivery.

Three photo sensors are arranged around the lens and collectively control an IR-cut filter. The sensors are integrated into the assembly to point in the same direction as the lens, and provide a good assessment of the scene brightness even when some of them have been panned or tilted out of view of the window.
