  • Publication number: 20200308557
Abstract: Provided are fusion target-binding proteins comprising a target binding moiety, an intracellular signalling region and a domain that promotes synthesis of arginine or an arginine precursor. The domain may be an enzyme domain such as an argininosuccinate synthase (ASS-1) enzyme domain, or an ornithine transcarbamylase (OTC) enzyme domain. Also provided are cells comprising such a fusion target-binding protein (for example cells that express the fusion target-binding protein), and nucleic acids encoding such fusion target-binding proteins. The invention also provides fusion target-binding proteins comprising a target binding moiety, an intracellular signalling region and a domain that promotes synthesis of tryptophan or a tryptophan precursor. Pharmaceutical compositions, medical uses, and methods of treatment, all using the fusion target-binding proteins, cells, or nucleic acids are disclosed.

Abstract: An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.

  • Publication number: 20200188226
Abstract: A vibration appliance includes a vibration-isolation structure which substantially reduces vibration felt by the user at the handle. The vibration motor is mounted to a vibration plate which carries the massage node. The vibration plate floats within the vibration appliance housing, being suspended by a flexible, elastomer membrane having contours such as curves or folds in it that provide freedom of movement of the vibration plate relative to the housing to which the flexible membrane is mounted. This arrangement can be thought of as the motor and vibration node being mounted on a flexible diaphragm that can move freely as if mounted to the housing by a bellows-like arrangement.
