  • Patent number: 10483055
Abstract: A programmable arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) is provided. The programmable AFCI includes a dual resistive shunt array for developing inputs to an analog front end which in turn develops trigger quantities for input to a programmable processor. The programmable processor determines if the trigger quantities, singularly, or in the aggregate, exceed predetermined thresholds. Determining the predetermined thresholds are exceeded the processor issues a trigger command to momentarily energize a delatching coil, thus removing AC mains power from a load.

  • Patent number: 10467071
Abstract: An extensible key management system includes a developer services portal for accessing an application. The system may identify initiation via the developer services portal of an association of the application with an external API of a third party provider service and automatically obtain a sub-key for the external API from the third party provider service on behalf of a developer of the application. The sub-key may be obtained in accordance with authorization provided by a master key previously provided from the third party provider service. The system may map an association between the sub-key, the application and the external API and store the association. Upon receipt of a service call message resulting from a request from a user device executing the application, the system may identify and replace a developer API key included in the service call message with the sub-key based on the stored association.

  • Patent number: 10372518
Abstract: An extensible single point orchestration system receives service requests from applications. In dependence upon the service request a single third party provider service or multiple third party provider services is identified. When the single third party provider service is identified, the system dynamically adapts a core capability service, using a stored configuration entity, so as to set an appropriate message format and transmit a service call message to an external API of the identified single third party provider service. When multiple third party provider services are identified, the system dynamically adapts the core capability service, using another stored configuration entity, so as to set a respective appropriate message format for parallel data transmission of service call messages to each of the respective identified third party provider services and transmits the service call messages to respective external APIs of each of the third party provider services.

  • Publication number: 20190106965
Abstract: A risk/reliability assessment tool for ultra-deepwater well control equipment used for offshore drilling operations is disclosed. Embodiments take into consideration all of the processes required for competent risk/reliability assessment for loss mitigation. In an exemplary embodiment, the system provides a simulation tool which evaluates equipment components and simulates the various failure modes for each component and the effect on the other components in the equipment being evaluated.

  • Publication number: 20190070251
Abstract: The invention provides peptides that are chemically modified by covalent attachment of a water-soluble oligomer. A conjugate of the invention, when administered by any of a number of administration routes, exhibits characteristics that are different from the characteristics of the peptide not attached to the water-soluble oligomer.

  • Patent number: 10220920
Abstract: A dive door and ladder assembly includes a door positioned on the side of a boat, preferably in a rearward or aft position. The dive door is attached to a horizontally oriented hinge on a bottom portion thereof, and opens by pivoting inwardly and downwardly (vertically). When the door is in an open position, the underside of the door is generally in a horizontal plane with the upper surface of the doorway, forming a platform for divers and snorkelers to stand on. The upper surface of the doorway further includes a small hatch that may be opened to reveal a compartment therebelow. A collapsible ladder may be positioned within the compartment, in a collapsed state, and may be pulled upwardly from the compartment and folded over the side of the boat, through the doorway and extended into the water.

  • Publication number: 20180189744
Abstract: Calendar management devices and systems are disclosed that are configured with hardware to generate a calendar object and a calendar share identifier associated with the calendar object, and to cause the calendar share identifier to be provided to each of a plurality of calendar users. User input is received indicating a new event associated with the calendar object, and in response to the user input, the device(s) are configured to determine an authorization level of the new event based on the user input, generate a calendar event object comprising the authorization level, and automatically send a publication request to a remote server over a network, wherein said sending the publication request directs the remote server to determine a subset of the plurality of calendar users based on the authorization level and to send the event object to each of the subset of the plurality of calendar users.

  • Publication number: 20180035110
Abstract: A testing rack for infrared cable boxes has a bottom panel and a series of opposing top arms. The bottom panel and the top arms are spaced apart by a substantially planar back panel, and each of the top arms is configured to deflect relative to the back panel to allow a cable box to be installed and removed. An emitter bar on the back panel includes a channel and a series of slots, each corresponding to one of the top arms. The slots are each located next to an IR emitter port formed in the back panel, and are sized to accommodate an IR emitter cable. The channel is sized to hold a plurality of IR emitters such that each IR emitter is visible to a cable box through an IR emitter port with the IR emitter cable extending through a slot.
