  • Publication number: 20200215278
Abstract: An apparatus, such as a pressure support ventilator or respiratory monitor, provides operations for a patient, such a patient with heart failure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or other respiratory insufficiency. In some embodiments, the apparatus may detect a respiratory condition, such as a decompensation event and/or exacerbation event, from respiratory parameters. A clinical alert message may be transmitted or displayed for a physician based on the results of query presented to the patient in response to an analysis of the one or more respiratory parameters. In some embodiments, the apparatus generates a potential relapse indicator that may provide a prediction of a risk of an oncoming clinical event such as for evaluating whether to release the patient from a hospital.

  • Publication number: 20200195750
Abstract: In a method of structured communications in an observation platform a signal from a first communication device is received at a second communication device that is associated with a computer system. The computer system is associated with an organization, wherein a first characteristic of the signal corresponds to an audible source and a second characteristic of the signal corresponds to information indicative of a geographic position of the first communication device. The computer system derives a query from the signal, wherein the query is related to the organization. The computer system determines a plurality of persons representing the organization to respond to the query, wherein the determining is based on a factor related to the plurality of persons representing the organization. The signal is forwarded to a plurality of communication devices associated with the plurality of persons representing the organization.

  • Publication number: 20200187025
Abstract: This application discloses methods for creating self-organizing networks implemented on heterogeneous mesh networks. The self-organizing networks can include a computing cloud component coupled to the heterogeneous mesh network. In the methods and computer-readable mediums disclosed herein, a processor determines if a user equipment (UE) should hand over its service from a base station to a multi-radio access technology (RAT) node, based on heuristics including one or more of: a distance traveled over a time T1, an average speed over a time T2, a destination stored in internal memory within the UE, a speed limit measurement for a nearby road, a possible direction in which the UE could travel, a signal strength measurement for a servicing base station, and a signal strength measurement for the multi-RAT node. A position profile may be used to predict a future location of the UE.

  • Publication number: 20200186331
Abstract: A message is embedded within an entropy stream. The message is encrypted using a onetime pad (OTP) and thus looks like part of the entropy string since the OTP encrypted messages is, as long as the “pad” material and message content are known, itself random to the observer. The encrypted message contains information used to identify and/or point to relevant information in another part of the entropy stream. For example, the OTP-encrypted message may indicate the number of units of the message, and point to a position in another part of the stream where another message is located. The stream may be randomly and deterministically expanded.
