  • Patent number: 10626876
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for determining airflow through a PAP device while applying PAP therapy. The actual speed of a blower 6 is measured. The desired motor current I DES required for the actual speed to approach or maintain a desired speed is used, together with the actual speed RPM ACT, in a flow estimation algorithm to determine flow through the PAP device. The estimation algorithm consists of a two-dimensional look-up table, where the inputs are the desired motor current and actual motor speed, and the output is the flow through the PAP device.

  • Publication number: 20200113845
Abstract: An abuse deterrent and misuse deterrent transdermal patch comprising aversive agents incorporated in the backing layer of the patch. The aversive agents can exhibit biphasic or sustained kinetics of release with an immediate portion released rapidly and an extended portion released in a prolonged manner when exposed to a dissolution medium. The prolonged aversive agent release provides deterrence against extraction of drug from fresh and used patches and serves to prevent accidental misuse of used patches by children. The abuse deterrent and misuse deterrent patch systems can be used for transdermal delivery of therapeutically active agents and particularly those drugs that are highly prone to abuse such as opiate and opioid analgesics and stimulants.

  • Patent number: 10620810
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to providing video, and more particularly to streaming of video. There is described a method and a system for performing scrubbing in a video stream of a video item selected at a media device. The video item is streamed from a server system to the media device. The method comprises dividing the selected video item into a number of segments and selecting a first snippet for each segment, which snippet is pre-buffered. The video stream of a first segment of the selected video item is played at the media device simultaneously as scrubbing to a second segment of the selected video item. When the scrubbing is done the video stream of the first segment stops and the first snippet of the second segment starts playing seamlessly.
