  • Publication number: 20210140510
Abstract: Various implementations include an actuator. The actuator includes a housing and a piston. The housing has a central axis and an inner surface. The housing defines at least one protrusion that extends radially inwardly from the inner surface of the housing. The piston is slidingly disposed within the housing and engages the inner surface of the housing as the piston travels a stroke length within the housing along the central axis. The piston travels from a proximal end to a distal end of the stroke length upon actuation of the actuator. The protrusion is disposed adjacent a distal end of the stroke length and is deformed in a radially outward direction when the piston engages the protrusion.

  • Publication number: 20210104342
Abstract: A soft magnetic composite comprising an iron or iron alloy ferromagnetic material coated with an oxide material. An interface between the ferromagnetic material and the layer of oxide contains antiphase domain boundaries. Two processes for producing a soft magnetic composite are also provided. One process includes depositing an oxide layer onto an iron or iron alloy ferromagnetic material by molecular beam epitaxy at a partial oxygen pressure of from 1×10?5 Torr to 1×10?7 Torr to form a coated composite. • Publication number: 20210075753
Abstract: A real-time messaging system platform receives from, a communication application installed on a first user communication device, a first user identifier, an indication that a messaging service message composed by the first user is being directed to a first destination associated with a second user, and an identification of data present in the messaging service message. The identification of the data and a message transmission history of the first user is used to enable selection of a message of a first entity. The selected message of the first entity is caused to be displayed by the communication application within a message framework that frames the first user messaging service message. The first entity message is caused to be included in the messaging service message transmitted to the second user device, wherein the first entity is not provided with access to the identity of the first user or the second user.

  • Patent number: 10856411
Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB) includes a plurality of layers and electronic components connected to its top surface. The PCB also includes a plurality of trace layers, each located at a respective depth within the layers of the PCB. A plurality of vias provide signal pathways for the trace layer. Upon their manufacture, the vias include a stub portion not necessary for the signal pathways and causing degradation of the integrity of these signal pathways. Embodiments mill the bottom of the PCB to form a variable-depth cavity. The different milling depths of the variable-depth cavity are selected to remove the stub portions of the plurality of vias and the dielectric material between the stubs. By configuring the PCB power planes as the topmost trace layers, decoupling capacitors may be located at the greatest depth of the variable-depth cavity, thus reducing the loop inductance in the power circuit of the PCB.
