Abstract: A method and apparatus for maintaining a selected configuration for a structure during a manufacturing process for forming a product using the structure. Metrology data for a support system is received. The support system holds the structure during the manufacturing process. A determination is made as to whether a current configuration of the structure is within selected tolerances of the selected configuration for the structure based on the metrology data. The support system is reconfigured to move the structure into the selected configuration in response to a determination that the current configuration of the structure is not within the selected tolerances of the selected configuration for the structure.

Abstract: One exemplary embodiment is a system comprising a multi-fuel engine structured to selectably combust varying proportions of a first type of fuel and a second type of fuel, and an electronic control system structured to control the provision of at least one of the first type of fuel and the second type of fuel to the engine using a multi-factor cost optimization. The multi-factor cost optimization may account for a plurality of factors including one or more environment factors, location factors, mission factors, warranty factors, operator-specified factors and/or fleet-specified factors.

Abstract: A method for adaptably brokering location based second degree social networking includes receiving in a broker from a mobile computing device a request indicating a geo-location of the device, an identification of a social networking member, and a listing of one or more social networks in a set of social networks. Then, the broker queries each social network in the set to identify first degree contacts of the social networking member and additionally queries each social network in the set to identify second degree contacts of the social networking member. Thereafter, the second degree contacts is geo-located and, on condition that one of the second degree contacts is determined to be geographically proximate to the geo-location of the device, a profile for the one of the second degree contacts is retrieved from one or more of the social networks in the set and transmitted to the device.

Abstract: Historical form input field usage information of a group of input fields associated with a graphical user interface (GUI) form is analyzed. A subset of the group of input fields with higher usage characteristics relative to another subset of the group of input fields is automatically partitioned into a new form within a new tabbed portion of the displayed GUI form. The new form includes a set of selectable options that allow a user to select between reorganizing the subset of the input fields according to historical input field usage analysis of the user and reorganizing the subset of the plurality of input fields according to historical input field usage analysis of a group of form users within which the user is a member. The subset of the input fields within the new form is reorganized responsive to different user selections among the set of selectable options.

Abstract: A roof ventilation system is provided that is configured to be mounted on a profiled paneled roof for venting air from a vent opening in the roof. The roof ventilation system can include a vent part having a plurality of vent passages, a plurality of plies configured to be mounted substantially horizontal to the profiled roof panels and a plurality of cross members extending between each ply, wherein the plies and cross members define the vent passages; and a filter member attached to outer surfaces of the vent part. The filter member can be made from a resilient material, and the filter member may include extensions extending beyond a length of the vent part.

Abstract: A method for a trimmable marine device includes determining a target trim position of the marine device. A trim actuator is activated for an activation time that is calibrated to move the marine device from a current trim position to the target trim position. After activating the trim actuator for the calibrated activation time, a difference between an actual trim actuator condition and a desired trim actuator condition is calculated. An activation-time adapt value is determined based on the difference. The calibrated activation time is adjusted using the adapt value, and the trim actuator is activated for the adjusted activation time in response to subsequent changes in the target trim position. The adapt value is configured such that activating the trim actuator for the adjusted activation time moves the marine device closer to the target trim position than does activating the trim actuator for the calibrated activation time.

Abstract: Laundry wash water recycle system comprising a repressurization pump in fluid communication with a storage tank containing previously used wash water for pumping the used wash water sequentially through a lint filter, a cyclone, and a multi-media filter disposed in sequential series wherein the self-cleaning lint filter in sequential series combination with the cyclone removes insoluble solids with the multi-media filter providing a final filtration for obtaining an output of pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water. An advanced oxidation combination is introduced into pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water and mixing occurs for producing a double filtered cyclonically processed advanced oxidation treated water that is communicated to a clean water storage tank for providing on demand delivery to at least one washer and continuous delivery of a feedback flow to the inlet storage tank for providing constant recirculation of treated water through the system.

A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.

Abstract: A method of playing a musical keyboard comprises four main steps. The first step involves providing a guide comprising multiple columns aligned with keys on the musical keyboard. The columns are further divided into rows defining multiple blocks containing color codes and numbers. The numbers are arranged in arithmetic progression in each color code extending across a single row. The second step involves playing a first key on the musical keyboard based on a selected color code represented in each predetermined row. The third step involves playing the subsequent keys on the musical keyboard as per the arithmetic progression of numbers in the subsequent rows. The fourth step involves shifting to a subsequent row of the sheet, to start playing a selected key and the subsequent keys on the musical keyboard based on the next color code and corresponding numbers represented in the subsequent rows.

Abstract: The invention relates generally to welding and, more specifically, to welding wires for arc welding, such as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW). In one embodiment, a tubular welding wire includes a sheath and a core, and the core includes an organic stabilizer component. Further, the organic stabilizer component includes an organic sub-component configured to release hydrogen near a surface of a workpiece during welding, and includes a Group I metal, Group II metal, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A tonneau cover securing apparatus for removably securing a cover to a support frame attached to a pickup truck. The support frame preferably includes two opposing side rails that can be secured to respective sidewalls of the pickup truck, such that the cover can be secured to the side rails and the pickup truck by the securing apparatus, which preferably includes a channel, a locking member and a draw cord secured to the locking member. The locking member is biased toward a first position in which the securing apparatus can be prevented from disengaging from the respective side rail; wherein the draw cord can draw the locking member from the first position to a second position, in which the securing apparatus can be disengaged from the respective side rail. The securing apparatus preferably includes two locking members. Methods of securing a cover to a pickup truck are also disclosed.

Another aspect of the present teachings provides devices and methods for reshaping and resizing the right ventricle by changing the right ventricle sphericity index. Another aspect of the present teachings provides devices and methods for reshaping and resizing the right ventricle by reducing the tricuspid valve tethering height.

Abstract: A head harness for use by hunters who are already secured by a torso-type safety harness when sitting in a tree stand. The head harness comprises a headband or headband-incorporating cap worn by the hunter, a connector at the rear of the headband, and a receiver secured to the tree at a height corresponding to the hunter's head when sitting in the tree stand. The receiver and connector are configured to mate, with a connection that resists the nodding motion of the hunter's head if the hunter begins falling asleep, thereby helping to prevent falls from the tree stand that would be initiated in the direction of the nodding head.

Abstract: A notification appliance is disclosed. The notification appliance may be a strobe notification appliance, such as an LED strobe notification appliance. The notification appliance may be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted. Further, the notification appliance may include an optic that is configured to shape the light output from the notification appliance. For example, in a wall-mount, the optic may be mounted off-axis of a plane defined by a back plate of the notification appliance. Further, the notification appliance may be composed of a back plate, a driver board, and a front housing, with the front housing being attached to one or both of the back plate and the driver board. Moreover, the notification appliance may be used with an adapter bracket, which may be used to connect the notification appliance with one or more types of junction boxes.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for allowing parties, e.g., individuals, at different locations to participate in an on-demand content delivery session are described. Dynamically updateable playlists are used to control content delivery to the session participants in a synchronized manner. Content may be delivered to different session participants from different servers with a different playlist corresponding to each session participant being used to control content delivery to the session participant's host platform, e.g., set top box. Either party may update the playlist with, optionally, each of the content delivery servers being controlled by a different or local copy of the jointly updateable play list. Thus, an inviting party and one or more joining parties are able to participate together in an on-demand session. While the participants may be served by the same or different content delivery servers, the parties are able to share images, audio, and/or video in a synchronized manner.

Abstract: A method for facilitating asynchronous group play of an online casino game is provided. A group session is initiated over the Internet, including a plurality of players. A group objective defines a requirement of two or more of the plurality of players achieving winning outcomes that result from initiation of player decisions occurring in relative proximity to each other. For each player, outcomes of player decisions occurring during a period of gameplay are stored to a current session database defined in a storage device, wherein the periods of gameplay of at least two of the plurality of players are asynchronous. The current session database is analyzed to identify outcomes of two or more of the plurality of players occurring within a predefined number of player decisions of each other. The identified outcomes are combined and compared against the group objective.
