The OPUs are either stacked on each other in separate housings or integrated together in a common housing such that the OPUs are arranged laterally across a tape path and are positioned at a longitudinal position along the tape path.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for providing a variable switching frequency for a power supply. The system includes a controller and a filter. The controller generates a switching frequency for a power supply. The switching frequency is modified as a function of an input voltage and an output voltage. The filter provides the output voltage to a load based at least in part on the switching frequency generated by the controller. In one example, the controller adaptively modifies the switching frequency as a function of the input voltage and the output voltage in order to maintain a peak to peak current for an inductor.

Abstract: A system for generating a web page that integrates content from different content sources. The system defines a request configured to be transmitted from a consumer application to a producer application. The request is for the producer application to provide content to the consumer application. The system adds additional custom data to the request via a plurality of integration points. The additional custom data is configured to be interpreted by handlers corresponding to the integration points. The system receives content produced by the producer application. The producer application produces the content based upon the request and the additional custom data. The system displays the received content to appear as an integrated whole with other content on a page.

Abstract: According to an example, apparatuses for performing multiple concurrent spectral analyses on a sample under test include an optical system to concurrently direct a plurality of light beams onto analytes at multiple locations on the sample under test, in which the plurality of light beams cause light in either or both of a Raman spectra and a non-Raman spectra to be emitted from the analytes at the multiple locations of the sample under test. The apparatuses also include a detector to concurrently acquire a plurality of spectral measurements of the light emitted from the analytes at the multiple locations of the sample under test. Example methods of performing spectral analysis include use of the apparatuses.

Abstract: A novel method for designing an integrated circuit (“IC”) by rescaling an original set of circuits in a design of the IC is disclosed. The original set of circuits to be rescaled includes sequential nodes, combinational nodes, and interconnects. Each sequential node is associated with a phase of a clock. The method generates a rescaled set of circuits that includes multiple replica sets of the circuits. Each replica set of circuits includes sequential nodes, combinational nodes, and interconnects that are identical to nodes and interconnects in the original set of circuits. Each sequential node is associated with a phase of a clock that is at a fraction of the phase of its corresponding sequential element in the original set. The method connects nodes in each replica set of circuits to a logically equivalent node in another replica set. The method replaces the original set of circuits with the rescaled set of circuits.

Abstract: An electronic device employs a seal member to seal a battery pack to a housing member to prevent contaminants from entering into a battery bay. The electronic device includes a housing member having an exterior surface a portion of which defines a recess, an electronic assembly contained inside the housing member, and an battery pack received in the recess in the exterior surface of the housing member and electrically connected to the electronic assembly inside the housing member. The seal member engages the battery pack and the housing member along an outer circumference of the battery pack and an inner circumference of the recess such that the seal member seals the gap between the outer circumference of the battery pack and the inner circumference of the recess, thereby preventing contaminants from an external environment from entering into an interior of the recess through the gap.

Abstract: A reflow oven includes a chamber housing including surfaces that are in contact with heated air mixed with contaminants, including flux, and a water-soluble layer selectively applied to the surfaces of the chamber housing. Embodiments of the reflow oven include an acrylic-based layer, such as an acrylic paint. In one embodiment, the acrylic paint includes a water-soluble polymer, a polymer emulsion, and water. The water-soluble polymer includes butyl benzyl phthalate. In some embodiments, the acrylic paint includes 1-10% by weight butyl benzyl phthalate, 30-55% by weight acrylic polymer emulsion, and balance water. In a certain embodiment, the acrylic paint includes 1-5% by weight butyl benzyl phthalate, 35-50% by weight acrylic poly emulsion, and balance water. Methods of treating surfaces of the reflow oven are further disclosed.

Abstract: In one general aspect, a method can include implanting a first dopant, simultaneously, in a portion of a laterally diffused metal oxide semiconductor (LDMOS) device and in a portion of a resistor device included in a semiconductor device. The method can also include implanting a second dopant, simultaneously, in a portion of the LDMOS device and in a portion of a bipolar junction transistor (BJT) device in the semiconductor device.

Abstract: A consumer electronics (CE) device includes at least one processor and at least one computer readable storage medium accessible to the processor. The medium is programmed with instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to execute logic including detecting the position of the CE device and sending a command to at least one apparatus at a location distanced from the CE device to establish at least one configuration of the apparatus. The command is sent responsive to a determination that the CE device is passing a predefined distance from a location.

Abstract: An assembled blister package (1) has a blister sheet (11) formed with blisters (2) sealed by a foil backing sheet (4). The blister package (1) is sandwiched between opposite sides of a folded card (not shown) to stiffen it. Each of these sides has a rectilinear array of windows, the blisters protruding through one array of windows and the other array of windows defining discrete areas on which print describing the contents of the blisters beneath, is to be applied. A header sheet on which a bar-code is printed is attached to the backing sheet and a reader (23) is positioned to read the bar-code and extract from it information such as a description of the contents of each of the blisters and their respective positions in the package. Information relating to the identification of the contents of a particular blister and the identity of the patient is fed to an ink-jet printer (31) and two stepping motors (22 and 30) are used to control the position of the printer with respect to the backing sheet.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to monitor impressions of social media messages. An example method includes receiving at a server a request for media, the request addressed to a uniform resource locator, the request corresponding to a social media message to be presented with the media, and the request including a user identifier. The method also includes crediting the social media message with an impression based on the request being addressed to the uniform resource locator. The method also includes identifying that the impression corresponds to an original intended recipient of the social media message based on the user identifier matching a second user identifier stored in a list of subscribers that subscribe to receive messages from an original sender of the social media message.

Abstract: A computer system-implemented method comprises using a process in execution on a processor of a computer system to access, from a database and/or from product information pages on a first retailer's e-commerce site, product description information and pricing information for a product sold by the first retailer. Using a robot module, product description information and pricing information for a non-identically identified product that is offered for sale by a second retailer is accessed via an electronic communication network. Product matching rules with parameters that are adjustable by product are implemented and accessed to automatically determine whether or not an exact feature match exists between the product and the non-identically identified product. Upon determining an exact feature match, a data output linking the product and the non-identically identified product is generated automatically, the data output for being accessed by a price comparison process.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating a template for automatic data capture are described. The method comprises determining locations of a plurality of data fields in a first document, wherein the plurality of data fields are identified based, at least in part, on structured data associated with the first document, identifying at least one second document that includes the plurality of data fields in locations similar to those determined for the first document to produce a set of documents, determining locations of a plurality of anchorboxes describing common text elements of the set of documents, and generating the template, wherein the template describes locations of the plurality of anchorboxes and locations of the plurality of data fields.

Abstract: A surgical stapling apparatus includes a cartridge assembly, an anvil assembly, a surgical buttress, and a low molecular weight bioabsorbable adhesive. The cartridge assembly includes a plurality of staples and a tissue contacting surface defining staple retaining slots. The anvil assembly includes a tissue contacting surface defining staple pockets for forming staples expelled from the staple retaining slots of the cartridge assembly. The surgical buttress is disposed on at least one of the tissue contacting surfaces of the cartridge assembly and the anvil assembly. The low molecular weight bioabsorbable adhesive releasably retains the surgical buttress on the at least one of the tissue contacting surfaces of the cartridge assembly and the anvil assembly.

Abstract: An ultrasound system performs duplex colorflow and spectral Doppler imaging, with the spectral Doppler interrogation performed at a sample volume location shown on the colorflow image. The colorflow image is displayed in a color box overlaid on a co-registered B mode image. A color box position and steering angle processor analyzes the spatial Doppler data and automatically sets the color box angle and location over a blood vessel for optimal Doppler sensitivity and accuracy. The processor may also automatically set the flow angle correction cursor in alignment with the direction of flow. In a preferred embodiment these optimization adjustments are made automatically and continuously as a user pauses at points for Doppler measurements along a length of the blood vessel.

Each bit cell includes two ferroelectric capacitors connected in series between a first plate line and a second plate line, such that a node Q is formed between the two ferroelectric capacitors. The first plate line and the second plate line are configured to provide a voltage approximately equal to first voltage while the bit cell is not being accessed. A clamping circuit coupled to the node Q. A first read capacitor is coupled to the bit line via a transfer device controlled by a first control signal. A second read capacitor coupled to the bit line via another transfer device controlled by a second control signal. A sense amp is coupled between the first read capacitor and the second read capacitor.

Abstract: A method, system or computer usable program product for automatically navigating content on different devices using markers including identifying a set of device types for receiving content stored in memory, utilizing a processor to provide markers to the content, the markers being selective by device type, and displaying on a display a portion of the content on each device type according to the provided markers.
