  • Patent number: 10457526
Abstract: A method and apparatus for detecting overload distortion in lifting and the like gear is disclosed. The apparatus includes a hook with two reference points thereon defining, in the undistorted state of the hook, a reference dimension. The hook also has a standard dimension provided on the hook and conveniently accessible for reference purposes. The standard dimension is also a pair of points and one of this pair is coincident with one of the reference points thereby forming a triangle of points on the hook.

  • Publication number: 20170216727
Abstract: A method of in-game advertising includes steps of: (a) communicatively connecting an electronic device to a game server via a communication network, the game server including a game item and an advertisement item that corresponds to the game item; (b) the electronic device receiving game data of the game item and advertisement information of the advertisement item from the game server; and (c) the electronic device generating and displaying game content of the game item in a first display area according to the game data, and displaying the advertisement information of the advertisement item in a second display area that is non-overlapping with the first display area.

  • Publication number: 20170221098
Abstract: A method is implemented by a server communicating with a user-end portable device carried by a user. The method includes: receiving from the user-end portable device information that indicates a user-end location of the user-end portable device; calculating a distance between the user-end location and a store location of the brick-and-mortar store; determining an advertised article that is sold in the brick-and-mortar store, according to at least one of a purchase record or a wish associated with the user; and when the distance is smaller than a pre-determined distance, transmitting data to the user-end portable device to enable the user-end portable device to display of a webpage for purchasing the advertised article.

  • Publication number: 20130213845
Abstract: A safe packaging container includes a flat body, a membrane, an engagement protrusion and an engagement slot. A plurality of carrier units are provided on the flat body to carry items, such as cookies, candies, snacks, batteries, pills, etc. A folding line is provided on the flat body to allow the flat body to be folded. The membrane is attached to the surface of the flat body to seal the items carried in the carrier units. The engagement protrusion is provided on one end of the flat body. Another folding line is provided between the engagement protrusion and the flat body. When the flat body is folded along the folding line, the engagement protrusion may engage with the engagement slot. Prints, such as directions for product or safety, etc., may be provided on the surface of the membrane.

  • Patent number: 7959004
Abstract: A safe packaging container made to be folded or rolled has the opening surface thereof hidden by use of a cooperative fixing element, so that the contents loaded in the packing container are protected safely from being destroyed and that the packing container is not easy to open. The structure design can be applied to improve the conventional blister-type packaging container, which has the disadvantage of being easy to open and therefore poses a risk of accidental child ingestion. Moreover, the folded or rolled safe packaging container has a reduced volume and weight and therefore is more convenient for transporting.

  • Patent number: 6708091
Abstract: An automated terrain awareness and avoidance system includes a transmitter located in a region to be protected from controlled flight into terrain accidents. The transmitter transmits an identification value to an aircraft. In response, a safety checking routine on the aircraft identifies a danger zone around the transmitter, and determines whether the aircraft has (or will) enter the danger zone. If the safety checking routine determines that the aircraft has (or will) enter the danger zone, the safety checking routine determines a safe route and engages the autopilot, which steers the aircraft along the safe route. The safety checking routine also causes a password to be transmitted to an air route traffic control center (ARTCC). The autopilot is disengaged if the safety checking routine determines the aircraft is no longer on course to enter the danger zone, or when the password, which must be received from the ARTCC, is entered.
