Abstract: Techniques for dynamic routing based on application load are described herein. The techniques may include receiving load information associated with resources of an application orchestration system that are allocated to host an application, the resources associated with different geographical regions. Based at least in part on the load information, a network controller may determine that first resources of the application orchestration system are less constrained than second resources of the application orchestration system, the first resources associated with a first geographical region and the second resources associated with a second geographical region. Based at least in part on the first resources being less constrained than the second resources, application traffic may be routed through the network to the application hosted by the first resources in the first geographical region.

  • Patent number: 11966629
Abstract: A distributed data storage system can be configured with a host connected to a first device and an initialization module that performs a default initialization procedure on the first device in response to detecting the first device has an unknown manufacturing origin. Conducting the default initialization procedure may allow the first device to service data access requests from the host. In response to the connection of a second device to the host and initialization module, a manufacturing origin of the second device is identified with the initialization module before the initialization module customizes the default initialization procedure to a custom procedure that is executed to allow the second device to satisfy a background operation prescribed by the initialization module.

  • Publication number: 20240100313
Abstract: A coupling arrangement for use in an air delivery circuit includes a first connector tube defining a first passage therethrough and a second connector tube defining a second passage therethrough. The second connector tube telescopically receives a portion of the first connector tube within the second passage. A release mechanism includes wedges coupled to the first or second connector tube. The first and second connector tubes have a number of corresponding features that latch the first connector tube within the second passage of the second connector tube when the first connector tube is axially inserted along the longitudinal axis a predetermined distance. Actuation of the wedges radially toward the longitudinal axis causes axial movement among the first connector tube and the second connector tube a second predetermined distance that is sufficient to unlatch the corresponding features.
