Abstract: A scalable edit window and position indicators displayable on a display of an electronic typewriter are provided. The width of the scalable edit window adjusts in accordance with the paper size or size of the recording medium selected for printing the keyed-in characters, or in accordance with a value provided by the operator. The height of the scalable edit window adjusts in accordance with the font size of keyed-in characters. The keyed-in characters are displayed in the scalable edit window in a font size and appearance as characters which will be printed on a recording medium. The displayable position indicators include a horizontal ruler and a vertical ruler. The horizontal ruler is adjusted in accordance with the maximum printing capability of the system printer or the width of a recording medium used for printing the keyed-in characters. The vertical ruler is adjusted in accordance with the font size of the keyed-in characters or the length of the recording medium.

A preferred composition embodies 5-30 parts by weight of vegetable protein (soy protein) and 7-12 parts by weight of vegetable oil, commercial lecithin, or a mixture of both, the composition being readilly dispersible in water.

The connector has a plate or other member that presses the conductive elastomer onto the conductive surface pads, creating an electrical path between the conductor and the circuit board. Abstract: Methods of determining the ratio of apolipoprotein B-100 to apolipoprotein A-I using ELISA techniques in conjunction with monoclonal paratopic molecules are disclosed as are diagnostic systems useful in performing those determinations. Monoclonal paratopic molecules secreted by hybridomas having ATCC accession numbers HB 8742, HB 8746, HB 9200 and HB 9201 are utilized.

Abstract: Wellhead distribution valving (known in the trade as a Xmas tree) are protected from potential thieves by security apparatus that prevents access to the mounting flange bolts of the wellhead valving. This security apparatus comprises a housing having two similar half sections. Each half section includes an outer wall, a semi-annular top and a semi-annular bottom. A plurality of locking members are integrally attached to the outer wall at each half to mate with a locking receptacle attached to the inner surface of the outer wall of the mating half section. An inner core of a metallic material is incorporated into the outer wall, the top and the bottom to increase the difficulty of penetration through the surface housing.
