Abstract: Tracking of data processing usage of a workload is initiated, within a virtualized environment, comprising one or more globalization characteristics, wherein the at least one globalization characteristic requires conversion by at least one globalization service managed by a virtualization service provider of the virtualized environment. The at least one globalization characteristic is detected. At least one usage metric of the data is tracked during data processing of the workload request. The globalization usage data is output comprising an identifier for the at least one application, an identifier for the at least one globalization characteristic, and the at least one usage metric to identify a particular amount of overhead during data processing based on the at least one globalization characteristic.

Abstract: A method, program product, and system for inputting Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) characters into a touchscreen-enabled device is provided. The touchscreen-enabled device receives a plurality of finger touch events. Each of the plurality of finger touch events is a CJK text input stroke associated with a corner of the touchscreen-enabled device. A finger touch movement direction on the touchscreen-enabled device is determined for each of the plurality of finger touch events. In response to determining the finger touch movement direction, the finger touch movement direction associated with each of the plurality of finger touch events is converted to a numeric index value. The corner that is activated by each of the plurality of finger touch events is determined and associated to the numeric index value.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes detecting a first user is editing a first version of a content piece. A first feature set value is determined, describing a first set of values of one or more features of the first version. Based on the first feature set value, a first maturity score of the first version is determined, using a mapping. It is detected that a second user is editing a second version of the content piece in parallel with the first user editing the first version. A second feature set value is determined, describing a second set of values of the one or more features of the second version of the content piece. Based on the second feature set value, a second maturity score of the second version is determined, using the mapping. It is detected that the second maturity score meets a maturity threshold. Thus, a remedial action is performed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: obtaining and storing, by a computer device, a service profile defining writing style rules, scoring information, and threshold information; receiving, by the computer device, an extracted program integrated information (PII) message from a client device; determining, by the computer device, an overall validation score of the extracted PII message is less than a threshold defined by the threshold information; generating, by the computer device, a modified PII message by changing content of the extracted PII message; and returning, by the computer device, the modified PII message to the client device for replacing the extracted PII message in a source code.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving light at an image sensor of a digital camera; generating an image based on the received light; detecting an artifact in the image; determining a blocking area of the sensor based on the detecting the artifact; blocking the light at the blocking area; determining whether the artifact is present in the image after the blocking; in response to determining that the artifact is present after the blocking, determining a new blocking area and repeating the blocking and the determining using the new blocking area; and in response to determining that the artifact is not present after the blocking, saving the image in memory.

Aspects include obtaining a first biometric information by a first processing device, wherein the first processing device has stored one or more credentials. Then, responsive to obtaining the first biometric information, the method determines whether the first biometric information is valid. The method then creates, via the first processing device, an ad-hoc network based upon the determination that the first biometric information is valid. The method, then receives a second biometric information from a second processing device through the ad-hoc network. And, then the method analyzes the second biometric information to determine whether the second biometric information is valid.

The system also includes a font conversion module that identifies a web font associated with a new glyph that is not described in a local system font repository and converts the identified web font associated with the new glyph into a default system font format. Further, the system includes a validation module that validates the converted web font associated with the new glyph. Additionally, the system includes an update module that updates the local system font repository with the validated converted web font associated with the new glyph.
