  • Patent number: 8237898
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertically aligned LCD (VA-LCD) employing a bi-axial retardation compensation film, in which an in-plain refractive index (nx, ny) and a thickness refractive index (nz) of the film is nx>ny>nz. The film has a reversed wavelength dispersion in which retardation is increased in proportion to the increase of a wavelength in the range of visible rays and has a normal wavelength dispersion in which an absolute value of the thickness retardation is decreased in proportion to the increase of a wavelength in the range of visible rays. The VA-LCD cell having a retardation compensation characteristic is comprised by arranging a bi-axial retardation compensation film between the vertically aligned panel and a upper and lower polarizing plate. The VA-LCD of the present invention improves contrast characteristics on a front surface and at a tilt angle and minimizes coloring in a black state according to the tilt angle.

  • Publication number: 20120007625
Abstract: A test socket may include a socket frame, a plate, a socket pin and a link. The socket frame may have a slot configured to accept an object. The plate may be free to move in the slot along an inserting direction of the object to support a lower surface of the object. The socket pin may be movably arranged in a direction substantially perpendicular to the inserting direction of the object. The socket pin may selectively make contact with a tab of the object. A link may be pivotally connected to the socket pin and the plate. Thus, the socket pin of the test socket may avoid dragging along the tab of the object during insertion, and accordingly, the tab of the object may avoid damage.

  • Publication number: 20110309051
Abstract: An apparatus for wet treatment of an object includes a treatment bath in which an object to be treated is received and treated; a plurality of object supporting rods rotatably installed in the treatment bath and having a plurality of slots formed in surfaces thereof to support an object so that the object stands in a direction perpendicular to a bottom surface of the treatment bath; and a rotating means connected to the object supporting rods to rotate the object in a circumferential direction by rotating the object supporting rods. Treatment fluid injecting holes for injecting a treatment fluid to the object and treatment fluid channels for supplying the treatment fluid to the treatment fluid injecting holes are formed in the object supporting rods. Thus, a dead zone in the treatment bath is removed and the treatment fluid may flow uniformly and smoothly, which improves treatment efficiency and treatment uniformity.
