  • Patent number: 10353982
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system for disambiguating between multiple potential users that may have performed an item action (e.g., item removal or item placement) at an inventory location. For example, if there are three picking agents (users) standing near an inventory location and one of the agents removes an item (item action) from the inventory location, the example systems and processes described herein may utilize various inputs to disambiguate between the users and determine which of the potential users performed the item action.

  • Publication number: 20190205117
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for transition between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code environment. A method for transition between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code may commence with generating a steering policy. The steering policy may include a set of rules to guide steering decisions between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code environment. The method may further include sending the steering policy to a steering server. The steering server may make steering decisions to steer, based on the steering policy, service requests between the current cloud-based code environment and the updated cloud-based code environment. The method may continue with receiving feedback concerning actual steering decisions made by the steering server. The method may further include automatically adjusting the steering policy in response to the feedback.

  • Publication number: 20190197105
Abstract: Machine training for determining sentiments in social network communications. A text document is extracted from a web site and tokenized into tokens. The tokens are input to a word to vector conversion model to generate word vectors. A term frequency inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm converts the word vectors to sentence vectors. A randomly selected subset the sentence vectors are tagged and used to train a classifier. The classifier takes a sentence vector and predicts a sentiment associated with the sentence vector. Predicted sentiment associated with each of the sentence vectors may be combined to generate a sentiment associated with the text document.

  • Publication number: 20190197531
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a secure method of providing a delivery address during a tokenized payment transaction scheme. A consumer places an order with a merchant without providing a delivery address. A distributor that collects payments due to the merchant requests a payment identification code and a delivery address from a payment agent. The request includes payment information. The payment agent generates and stores a payment identification code along with the payment information, and sends the code to the consumer via the distributor. The consumer forwards the code to a financial institution for forwarding to the payment agent who returns the payment information along with a request for a delivery address. The consumer may respond by authorizing the payment and by providing a delivery address. The financial institution then arranges the payment to the merchant and sees that the merchant receives the delivery address.

  • Patent number: 10333478
Abstract: An input stage of an operational amplifier receives first and second input voltages. An output slew detection circuit decreases a first current responsive to slewing of an output of the operational amplifier and increases the first current responsive to no slewing. A slew boost and differential input voltage detection generates a second current at a first level when the first and second input voltages are approximately equal and to generate the second current at a second level, smaller than the first level, responsive to the first and second input voltages not being approximately equal. A voltage on a capacitor increases responsive to the first current from the output slew detection circuit increasing and responsive to the second current being at the second level. A current mirror is activated responsive to the voltage on the capacitor exceeding a second threshold. The current mirror decreases a third current of the input stage.

  • Patent number: 10301079
Abstract: The hybrid plug is a single component replacement for three components, the paint plug, conventional plug and capseal in a drum closure. It is formed from a single sheet of metal and has a plug portion and a capseal portion which vary in thickness. The plug portion has a collar and an externally threaded wall with a plug gasket disposed on a plug gasket seat. The capseal portion is provided with ears and scoring to enable separation from the plug portion and with a lining on the inner wall of the capseal portion to safeguard against plug gasket failure. The capseal portion may be recessed at intervals to form dimples which hold the hybrid plug in place in an automated insertion process. The hybrid plug provides a passage for air and gases during paint curing and leak testing without necessitating removal.

  • Publication number: 20190158550
Abstract: To manage complexity related to messages and comments about collaboratively edited electronic documents, an electronic document has associated activity data and comment data, where a type of activity data includes messages among users. Message data is stored in a stream of activity data in a format that is accessible both to communication applications outside of the electronic document, and to end user applications for editing the electronic document. The message data can include a document identifier, a user identifier for a sender and/or a receiver, and content of the message. A communication application, given a user identifier, can access document messages for that user, from a single electronic document or over multiple electronic documents. Further, the communication application can be notified when new document messages related to a user identifier are added to one or more electronic documents.
