  • Patent number: 11822527
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer products are described herein for identifying data inconsistencies within database tables associated with an application. A master data inconsistency evaluator receives data including at least one selection parameter within at least one database table. By the master data inconsistency evaluator evaluates the at least one selection parameter by comparing the at least one selection parameter with other database tables associated with the application to identify data inconsistencies. The master data inconsistency evaluator repairs the data inconsistencies to further facilitate an error free transaction.

  • Patent number: 11823094
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system for disambiguating between multiple potential users that may have performed an item action (e.g., item removal or item placement) at an inventory location. For example, if there are three picking agents (users) standing near an inventory location and one of the agents removes an item (item action) from the inventory location, the example systems and processes described herein may utilize various inputs to disambiguate between the users and determine which of the potential users performed the item action.

  • Patent number: 11822541
Abstract: Various techniques for accelerating Smith-Waterman sequence alignments are provided. For example, threads in a group of threads are employed to use an interleaved cell layout to store relevant data in registers while computing sub-alignment data for one or more local alignment problems. In another example, specialized instructions that reduce the number of cycles required to compute each sub-alignment score are utilized. In another example, threads are employed to compute sub-alignment data for a subset of columns of one or more local alignment problems while other threads begin computing sub-alignment data based on partial result data received from the preceding threads. After computing a maximum sub-alignment score, a thread stores the maximum sub-alignment score and the corresponding position in global memory.

  • Publication number: 20230367848
Abstract: An unsupervised density-ratio estimation (DRE) based approach is used to determine statistical changes in time-series data when no knowledge of the pre- and post-change distributions are available. The core idea behind the disclosed technology is to split the time-series at an arbitrary point and estimate the ratio of densities of distribution (using a parametric model such as a neural network) before and after the split point. The DRE-CUSUM change detection statistic is then derived from the cumulative sum (CUSUM) of the logarithm of the estimated density ratio. Theoretical justification as well as accuracy guarantees are provided which show that the proposed statistic can reliably detect statistical changes, irrespective of the split point. The disclosed framework makes it readily applicable in various practical settings (including high-dimensional time-series data).

  • Patent number: 11817105
Abstract: An authentication system may receive non-voice biometric authentication information from a user and authenticate the user via a first authentication method using the non-voice biometric authentication information. After authenticating the user via the first authentication method, the authentication system can enhance or create, based on a verbal request or a verbal command received from the user, a voice profile associated with the user. Once the profile is enhanced or created, the user is enrolled into a voice biometric authentication program.

  • Publication number: 20230326101
Abstract: State of the art mechanisms being used for achieving diagnostic-quality images under low-dose settings for general CT imaging have the disadvantages that CT images are fixed during the optimization process to generate perfusion maps, which can lead to suboptimal CT images with respect to the perfusion maps generated, although they might appear spatially smooth or denoised. • Publication number: 20230305089
Abstract: State of the art systems being used for QSM reconstruction have explored prior information from both magnitude and phase data. However, the underlying assumption is that the susceptibility maps and the magnitude images have coinciding edges. Establishing the ground-truth susceptibility maps is difficult and leads to limited applicability of supervised methods. Further, with portable MRI machines becoming a reality, low-field imaging is getting more prominence, which brings in several associated challenges due to noise and external interference. The disclosure herein generally relates to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) imaging systems, and, more particularly, to a method and system for quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) reconstruction in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems. The system performs an iterative reconstruction of QSM, wherein in each iteration the reconstructed QSM from previous iteration is refined by comparing with a reference image generated using same subject's prior MRI data.

Abstract: Various techniques for accelerating dynamic programming algorithms are provided. For example, a fused addition and comparison instruction, a three-operand comparison instruction, and a two-operand comparison instruction are used to accelerate a Needleman-Wunsch algorithm that determines an optimized global alignment of subsequences over two entire sequences. In another example, the fused addition and comparison instruction is used in an innermost loop of a Floyd-Warshall algorithm to reduce the number of instructions required to determine shortest paths between pairs of vertices in a graph. In another example, a two-way single instruction multiple data (SIMD) floating point variant of the three-operand comparison instruction is used to reduce the number of instructions required to determine the median of an array of floating point values.
