When the host processing complex is unpowered, the wireless management module receives power from the battery and receives configuration information for the managed device via the wireless transceiver. The management manages the managed device out of band from the hosted processing environment based upon the configuration information.

Additionally, in certain embodiments, the server systems may expose real power consumption via standard power profiles.
