Abstract: A system and method for identifying and analyzing a route using an inexpensive GPS system is provided. The system and method provides a location for storing GPS and vehicle operating data for at least one route, requiring a plurality of runs over the at least one route. Once a predetermined minimum number of runs have been reached, the system and method define a route segment, interpolate additional data points using the GPS and vehicle operating data, synchronize the data over the plurality of runs, and analyze the data. The analyzed data is then provided to a module capable of controlling the operation of an internal combustion engine. The analyzed data is forward-looking in that it permits anticipation of vehicle operation, and more particularly, engine and transmission operation.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fuel cell stack with a water drainage structure, which can effectively drain condensed water and prevent water from flowing into unit cells by combining an end anode plate (EAP) and an end cathode plate (ECP), which are formed by modifying an anode plate (AP) and cathode plate (CP) respectively. In doing so, the modified anode plate (AP) and cathode plate (CP) are converted into a dummy cell which is positioned at the end portions of the fuel cell stack.

Abstract: A crystalline polyamide ester resin is prepared by copolymerizing (A) a dicarboxylic acid component, (B) a diamine component, and (C) a cyclic aliphatic diol component, and has a structure in which a dicarboxylic acid moiety derived from the dicarboxylic acid component (A), a diamine moiety derived from the diamine component (B) and a cyclic aliphatic diol moiety derived from the cyclic aliphatic diol component (C) are repeated. A molar ratio ((B):(C)) of the diamine component (B) to the cyclic aliphatic diol component (C) is about 80 to about 99:about 1 to about 20. The crystalline polyamide ester resin has a melting point (Tm) ranging from about 280° C. to about 320° C. and a crystallization temperature (Tc) ranging from about 260° C. to about 290° C. The crystalline polyamide ester resin can have excellent heat resistance, discoloration resistance and moldability.

Abstract: A separator for a fuel cell includes a metal plate which defines a passage and a manifold, frames having gaskets which are integrated therewith using injection, and a bonding unit for bonding the frames to the metal plate. The gaskets may be differently formed. This resolves process interference problems between conductive surface treatment and gasket cross-linking, obviates deburring of the gasket, and preventes poor injection of the gaskets, which ensures stable quality of the separator, increases productivity and decreases the manufacturing cost.
