  • Publication number: 20240135763
Abstract: Aspects of the invention are directed towards systems and methods for changing the premises in a building such as hotel or the like. A user sends to a request from a user device to a server for switching a first premises with the second premises. An access card is able to access the first premises. Based on the request, the server determines the second premises and generates access credentials for the second premises. The access credentials are transmitted to a first access terminal associated with the first premises and the access card is encoded with the access credentials to access the second premises and permitting entry inside the second premises.

  • Patent number: 11922176
Abstract: Temporary firmware is provided as cloud services. Different temporary firmware containers are downloaded via a communications network. A light-weight operating system launches and executes the temporary firmware containers during a boot operation, POST operation, or other scheme. The temporary firmware containers thus detect and perhaps resolve POST errors. The light-weight operating system may also download a full-service/resource operating system. A second or subsequent boot operation may be performed, but control is ceded to the full-service/resource operating system. Multiple firmware tenants may thus be temporarily downloaded to a bare metal machine to support POST error detection activities. Advanced OS serviceability, diagnostics, and other containerized firmware may thus be quickly and simply launched without requiring the excessive time and difficulties of using the full-service/resource operating system.

  • Publication number: 20240054829
Abstract: Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and a method for providing access of an accessing device to a user. One or more embodiments of the invention describe the method comprising steps of detecting a charged status of a battery of a user device and prompting a user of the user device to define credentials when the charged status of the battery reaches below a pre-determined threshold. One or more embodiments of the invention further describe steps of receiving the defined credentials from the user to access an accessing device and transmitting the defined credentials to a server for providing access of the accessing device to the user.

  • Patent number: 11832137
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive handover information associated with one or more neighbor cells. The UE may identify that a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle associated with a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the UE at least partially overlaps with a second DRX cycle associated with a second SIM of the UE. The UE may identify that at least one of the first DRX cycle or the second DRX cycle does not overlap with a third DRX cycle associated with a neighbor cell of the one or more neighbor cells. The UE may transmit, to the neighbor cell, a message associated with a handover of at least one of the first SIM or the second SIM to the neighbor cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20230370143
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may measure a reference signal over a first subset of a set of measurement occasions using a serving UE receive beam according to a serving beam measurement periodicity. The UE may measure the reference signal over a second subset of the set of measurement occasions using a first subset of candidate UE receive beams of a set of candidate UE receive beams. The UE may measure the reference signal over a third subset of the set of measurement occasions using a second subset of candidate UE receive beams of the set of candidate UE receive beams. The UE may perform beam switching to a candidate UE receive beam of the set of candidate UE receive beams based at least in part on a result of measuring the reference signal.

  • Publication number: 20230328709
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive first configuration information indicating a transmission time interval (TTI) bundling resource. The UE may receive second configuration information indicating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources. The UE may detect, during a communication session, an SPS trigger for using the SPS resources in a subframe that is misaligned with a periodicity associated with the TTI bundling resource. The UE may determine whether the SPS trigger is valid based at least in part on a number of TTI bundling grants subsequent to the detection of the SPS trigger that are misaligned with the subframe associated with the SPS trigger. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 11758403
Abstract: Theft identification, prevention, and remedy are provided. A determination is made that a client device has been compromised. When the device makes the determination, a message is conveyed to the server and the server replies with a security challenge. When the server makes the determination, the security challenge is automatically sent to the device. An intelligence manager on the device attempts to answer the security question without interaction from the user. If there is an anomaly, a challenge is output to the user. Based on a false response to the challenge, a current data stream may be disrupted and removed from the device. Further, other devices in the network may be notified about the compromised device.

  • Publication number: 20230253115
Abstract: A method building models for predicting patient response to drug therapies uses patient data, including functional data, clinical data, and, in some implementations, genetic data (e.g., DNA extracted from diseased tissue). The functional data includes initial cell viability and cell viability in response to exposure to one or more drug therapies, and the clinical data includes patient information over time. For each patient, the method forms a feature vector comprising the functional data and the clinical data (and genetic data, when used). The method uses at least a subset of the feature vectors to train a first model to predict individual patient response to a first drug therapy. The method then stores the trained first model in a database for subsequent use in predicting patient response to the first drug therapy. Another method predicts patient responses to one or more drug therapies using the trained models.

  • Patent number: 11671202
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may adaptively switch between hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) monitoring modes to support power savings. In a first HARQ skipping mode, the UE may transmit an uplink message corresponding to a HARQ identifier and may receive a positive acknowledgment (ACK) message in a HARQ monitoring occasion associated with the HARQ identifier. Upon receiving the ACK message, the UE refrains from monitoring a subsequent HARQ monitoring occasion associated with the HARQ identifier while in the first HARQ skipping mode (e.g., an aggressive HARQ skipping mode). The UE may periodically enter a periodic evaluation mode from the first HARQ skipping mode, in which the UE monitors a subsequent HARQ monitoring occasion after receiving an ACK message to check for false ACK messages. If a false ACK message is detected, the UE enters a first HARQ skipping prohibited mode.

  • Patent number: 11631269
Abstract: Potentially fraudulent documents can be identified automatically and flagged for further review. Document fraud detection can include a number of fraud detection tests, where if the document fails any of the tests, the document can be flagged for further review. Various tests can be performed that seek to determine whether a document has been altered. In one instance, a financial instrument can be scanned and analyzed to identify one or more layers associated with the financial instrument from a scanned representation, and a check of transaction details can be triggered when the financial instrument is associated with multiple layers.
