  • Patent number: 9295371
Abstract: An imaging section images a subject to generate an image. A display displays an image. A measuring section measures the size of the subject on the basis of the image. A recording section associates calibration data of a measuring endoscope apparatus including a value obtained when the measuring section measures the size of the calibrator on the basis of an image obtained when the imaging section has imaged the calibrator, and calibration data of the calibrator including a value obtained when the calibrator is measured by a higher-rank measuring instrument of a traceability system, and a value obtained when the measuring section measures the size of a measurement object different from the calibrator on the basis of an image of the measurement object, with the image of the measurement object image and records the associated data on a recording medium.

  • Patent number: 9113806
Abstract: An image converter receives image data of an object and performs a kind of image conversion on the image data to generate converted image data for display. A measurement section measures at least one spatial characteristic of the object based on: the converted image data, and optical data, which relates to optical characteristics of an optical system through which the image data of the object has been obtained, and which is made to correspond to the kind of image conversion performed by the image converter. Alternatively, a measurement section measures at least one spatial characteristic of the object by relating, based on the kind of image conversion, coordinates of the converted image data to coordinates of the image data of the object before the image conversion, and by measuring the at least one spatial characteristic based on the coordinates of the image data of the object before the image conversion.

  • Patent number: 8732823
Abstract: A nondestructive testing apparatus includes a display section and a storage section which stores predetermined executable functions. Each of the predetermined functions is initially set to one of a permitted state and a disabled state, and one of a display state and a non-display state on the display section. In an initial state, at least one of the predetermined functions is set to the disabled state and the non-display state. The nondestructive testing apparatus can receive permission information which unlocks at least one of the predetermined functions initially set to the disabled state so as to be set to the permitted state, and unlocks at least one of the predetermined functions initially set in the non-display state so as to be in the display state. The apparatus displays an operation icon only with respect to all of the predetermined functions set to the display state.

  • Publication number: 20060176321
Abstract: An endoscope apparatus captures a subject, samples data at predetermined pixel spacing as an original image, and specifies a feature point in an original image, thereby performing a measurement. When a measurement point is specified in an enlarged image in an enlarged image generating process on the original image obtained by capturing an object to be measured, and when the specified point is to be long moved on the screen, it is moved with pixel spacing of the original image. When the feature point is specified in more detail, it is moved with pixel spacing finer than the pixel spacing of the original image, thereby efficiently performing an operation in a short time. Furthermore, by switching the above-mentioned settings, a measurement point can be more easily specified in a short time.
