    Abstract: A measuring endoscope apparatus captures a target of measurement, generates an original image, and performs a measurement based on the position of the measurement point on the original image. The apparatus can easily specify the measurement point with high precision, and realize high precision measurement. For example, the measurement point by a re-sampling image generated by moving sampling points by a spacing smaller than a pixel spacing of the original image obtained by capturing a target of measurement.
