  • Patent number: 7367013
Abstract: A Linux kernel and an application software package are integrally installed at a target computer by using a CML2. Setup options of the application S/W package to be installed at the target computer are described in an option information file. The option information file of the application S/W package is converted into a CML2 rule file and the CML2 rule file of the application S/W package is then integrated with a CML2 rule file of the Linux kernel, thereby realizing integrated configuration of the Linux kernel and the application S/W package and preparing an environment where dependency rules between the Linux kernel and the application S/W package can be described. Since every option in the option information file has a file list and these file lists are stored in a file list table, an installation file list that describes files finally installed at the target computer can be easily generated.

  • Patent number: 5655243
Abstract: A connection method for connecting precast concrete beams involves supporting both ends of the precast concrete beams, lifting up the central points of the precast concrete beams, placing concrete in the gaps between the ends of the precast concrete beams, and positioning tendons through anchor blocks which project from the precast concrete beams. The tendons are then tensioned and, substantially simultaneously, the lifting forces applied to the concrete beams are reduced. The connection method reduces the bending moment caused by the self-weight of precast concrete beams and, as a result, reduces the size of the beam section.

  • Patent number: 5367854
Abstract: A wet connection method for the precast concrete units capable of performing the connection of the units in a shorter time by electrically heating the concrete placed in the connection part. This method comprises the steps of connecting the reinforcing bars of the units to each other with a second conductive member of a conductive wire or net member in a space defined by the reinforcing bars, winding a conductive liner member around the connected reinforcing bars in order to provide a first conductive member, electrically connecting terminals of an electric power source to the first and second conductive members in such a manner that the polarities of the terminal and the conductive member are opposite to each other and applying electric power to the conductive members in order to cause the concrete placed in the connection part to be heated and rapidly cured. The present connection method shortens the curing time of the concrete and the term of work.
