BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In the past, the applicant of the present application filed several Korean patent applications, e.g., application Nos. 2001-32269, 2001-49745, 2001-40963 & 2002-3911, all of which have the constructions wherein a rising and setting operation state and a supporting state are separated from each other. Among them, application Nos. 2001-32269, 2001-40745 & 2002-3911 include a construction which have a button touch action by attaching a projection to the two ends of an extended spring formed to facilitate its preparation, handle and use, or another construction wherein a flag is protruded by the power of spring flexibly supported at the rear end of a rising and setting tube when a button is pressed. However, such constructions cannot be actually utilized for an industrial purpose and have difficulties in filing, registering and maintaining them in the form of several separate devices and in handling, manufacturing and using the products as several separate devices.

[0003] The present inventors conducted extensive researches to solve the disadvantages occurring in the prior arts, and have combined the construction of the separate flag holders for each of several earlier filed applications, in the form of one device, so that it is easy and convenient to actually apply, mold, manufacture, handle and use it. Thus, the present invention is convenient in its handling, simple in its preparation and cheap in its price, and comes into wide use. Particularly, this invention is to simplify the construction so that it can have a competitive power in the exporting market. That is, a flag is pulled upon its spreading and projected at the inserting part of the outer tube upon its rising. By doing so, the present invention prevents the flag from being automatically inserted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0019] First, holder (1) and flag tube (2) are integrally provided, a rising and setting groove (3) is formed at the flag tube (2) to rise and set a flag (5). A slope gear (16) is inserted to interpose with a slope gear projection (15) projected in the inner part of the cap (12) for winding and unwinding the flag (5). A projection piece (17) projected in the slope gear (16) is inserted into a cutting groove (7). An axial pin (18) is passed through the middle of the slope gear projection (15) and combined to be projected and inserted/driven into the outer part of the cap (12). A revolving body (9) is inserted into the other end of the winding inner tube (p6) so that an insert driving shaft (10) having an insert holding piece (11) at the rear end of the revolving body (9) is inwardly passed and a spring (8) is mounted flexibly the cutting groove (7) is inserted into a fixed pin (19) of the revolving body (9).

[0020] An illustrated in and exploded cross sectional view of FIG. 4, a threading part, one end of flag (5), is inserted into a cutting groove (7) of a winding inner tube (6) and fixed so that it is secure. The flag (5) is wound in the winding inner tube (6) and then inserted in the inner part of the flag tube (2). The insert holding piece (11) positioned at the rear end of the insert driving shaft (10) is inserted into the insert holding piece (22) of a supporting means (20) fixed to a pressure holding part (1′), and then fixed by combining and jointing an inner spiral (13) of cap (12) with an outer spiral positioned outside the end part of the flag tube (2).

[0021] Next, a rising and setting groove (3) is arranged at the end part of the flag (5). The flag should be prevented from being completely wound into the inner part, e.g. by a conventional means such as rope to the end of the flag (5).

[0022] In order to insert and hold an insert holding piece (11), in addition to a support means (20), a cutting window (1a) is positioned at the middle end of the holder (1) and flag tube (2) as illustrated in FIG. 6. The three sections are cut off and one section is inwardly flexed to act as a support. The flexible piece (1b) is positioned to perforate an insert holding grove (22′) and insert a insert holding piece (11).

[0023] When spreading the flag for use, the flag (5) is pulled and spread from the rising and setting groove (3). The winding inner tube (6) is unwound by a revolving in a fixed axis an insert driving shaft (10) and axial pin (18) in a state where the winding inner tube (6) is inserted into the revolving body (9) and slope gear (16). Herein, the end of spring (8) is fixed at an insert driving shaft (10) and the other end is fixed at a revolving body (9). Therefore, when the winding inner tube (6) is revolved and unwound, a tension (reverse rolling power) is received. If a reverse rolling power is retarded by spring (8), a slope gear (16) inserted at the upper end part is combined with a slope gear projection (15) to revolve in only one direction in the same manner as flywheel and retard a reverse revolution. Thus, the flag (5) can maintain in a spread state. Further, if the axial pin (18) is pressed upon winding of the flag (5) after use, a slope gear (16) is left out from a slope gear projection (15), and the flag (5) is wound in the original position as the winding inner tube (6) is reversed by the power of the spring (8) to be again rolled. The flag rod (4) can be inserted and removed in the axial pin (18).

[0024] Further, as illustrated in FIGS. 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, the flag (5) is automatically wound in the rising and setting tube (2A). Thus, this is not shown in the cross sectional view of FIGS. 10 and 11 and only a rising and setting tube (2a) is shown therein.

[0025] FIG. 10 shows when carrying and storing the rising and setting tube (2a) itself. The rising and setting tube (2a) is pushed and inserted inside the outer tube (23) to support an arch projection (26) (26′) and an inner wall section of the outer tube (23). It shows a state which supports without fluidizing or waving.

[0026] FIG. 11 shows a state that pulls the rising and setting tube (2a) and supports it completely. The projection jaw (29) (29′) positioned at the rear end of the rising and setting tube (2a) is suspended on a grooved jaw (24) of the injection part of the outer tube (23) and does no longer falls out. The arch projection (26) (26′) itself moves along the inner wall of the outer tube (23) and obviate from the injection part of the outer tube (23). It is projected by jumping out by the elasticity of an extended spring (28) with a projection hold (27) (27′). Therefore, the rising and setting tube (2a), when the outer shock or the attack added by the other power is not strong, has no discomfort to be again set inside the outer tube (23).

[0027] When the rising and setting tube (2a) is set to again push-in, if the rising and setting tube (2a) is pressed strongly or an arch projection (26) (26′) is pressed and pushed after winding the flag (5) as described above, the rising and setting tube (2a) is easily pushed and it becomes a state wherein the arch projection (26) (26′) is connected and flexibly supported with the inner sectional wall of the outer tube. That is, the front end and rear end of a slope jaw (25) positioned at the injection part of the outer tube (23) are supported with an arch projection (26) (26′). Thus, the discomfort such as a waving or a shaking is removed. Herein, the flag fastener (32) shown in FIG. 12 is an attachment means that secures at the balustrade of apartment veranda and inserts a flag holding pole.

[0028] The flag holding pole of the present invention is easily handled, used, stored and carried. It may also be readily attached to a motor vehicle. The rising and removal setting operation and the supporting operation permit removal of the inner tube (rising and setting tube) from the outer tube but can again be twisted and secured. 1 [Index]  1: holding part  1′: pressure holding part  1a: cutting window  1b: cutting flexing piece  2: flag tube (outer tube)  3: rising and setting groove  4: flag rod  5: flag  6: winding inner tube  7: cutting groove (opening groove)  8: spring  9: revolving body 10: insert driving shaft 11: insert holding piece 12: cap 13: inner spiral 14: outer spiral 15: slope gear projection 16: slope gear 17: projection piece 18: axial pin 19: fixed pin 30: supporting means 22, 22′: insert holding piece groove  2a: rising and setting tube 23: holder tub e(outer tube) 23′: cap 24: grooved jaw 25: slope jaw 26, 26′: arch projection 27, 27′: projection rising and setting hole 28: extended spring 29, 29′: projection jaw 32: flag fastener 33: insert tube 34: backing 35, 35′: fixed pin 36, 36′: bolt hole
