    Abstract: Provided are a localization apparatus for recognizing a location of a node in a sensor network and a method thereof. The method includes the steps of: a) selecting reference nodes from a plurality of anchor nodes to be used for triangulation; and b) obtaining location information of a target node by performing triangulation using the selected reference node, wherein in the step a), the reference nodes are selected by removing anchor nodes having obstacle factor from a plurality of the anchor nodes where the obstacle factor causes error in a distance measured by the target node.

    Abstract: A node for self localization, a clustering method using the same, and a localization method are provided. The node, which is located in a specific space so as to constitute a sensor network, includes a location information messaging unit which receives one or more location information messages including information on spatial locations of one or more neighboring nodes in the sensor network from the neighboring nodes in the sensor network; a distance calculator which calculates a first distance to the neighboring node on the basis of the location information included in the received location information messages and calculates a second distance to one or more neighboring nodes on the basis of the received time or intensity of the message on the location information; and a clustering unit which forms clusters of the node and a plurality of neighboring nodes in which the difference between the first and second distances is less than a predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method of managing a telematics application based on a vehicle's status. The apparatus includes an application install manager which sets execution condition information including information related to a vehicle's status at which the application is activated, a vehicle's status detector which detects the vehicle status, and an application execution manager which recognizes the application that is activated when detecting a vehicle's status, and executes the application. Accordingly, executing a telematics terminal application supports safe driving. In addition, when in an emergency situation, a resource can be rapidly ensured, and an application for handling the emergency situation is performed, thereby effectively overcoming the emergency situation.
