  • Patent number: 12255925
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data processing in a computing system are described. The computing system may receive a notification of an update to network security objects hosted in diverse substrates within the computing system. The computing system may retrieve a network security policy for a service instance impacted by the update. The computing system may update the network security policy for the service instance according to a network security configuration of the hosting substrate. The computing system may translate the updated network security policy into access control lists (ACLs) for network entities managing communications between service instances within the computing system. The computing system may store the ACLs in respective data repositories that are accessible to the network entities. The computing system may transmit a notification that the ACLs are available for deployment, thereby causing the network entities to retrieve the ACLs from the respective data repositories.

  • Publication number: 20250076954
Abstract: Hierarchical Power Management (HPM) architecture considers the limits of scaling on a power management controller, the autonomy at each die, and provides a unified view of the package to a platform. At a simplest level, HPM architecture has a supervisor and one or more supervisee power management units (PMUs) that communicate via at least two different communication fabrics. Each PMU can behave as a supervisor for a number of supervisee PMUs in a particular domain. HPM addresses these needs for products that comprise a collection of dice with varying levels of power and thermal management capabilities and needs. HPM serves as a unified mechanism than can span collection of dice of varying capability and function, which together form a traditional system-on-chip (SoC). HPM provides a basis for managing power and thermals across a diverse set of dice.

  • Patent number: 12244598
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that provide a framework that enables user to delegate other users as operators of their securely held account credentials via services backed by OAuth protocols. The disclosed framework provides functionality for users to be delegated access to other users' account credentials, information and resources for the performance of specific electronic transactions. The framework operates by connecting two OAuth registered users so that one user can perform an electronic transaction using another user's securely held credentials upon approval by the other user. This ensures that each electronic transaction is securely held and performed, and operated under the control of the delegator despite performance of the transaction by the delegatee involving the delegator's account information.

  • Patent number: 12231339
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for extending OpenvSwitch (OVS) megaflow offloads to hardware to address hardware pipeline limitations. Under a method implemented on a compute platform including a Network Interface Controller (NIC) having one or more ports and running software including OVS software and a Linux operating system having a kernel including a TC-flower module and a NIC driver a new megaflow is created with a mask in the OVS software employing a subset of microflow fields for a packet. The microflow fields and the megaflow mask is sent to the NIC driver. A new megaflow is implemented in the NIC driver employing a subset of the microflow fields and the NIC driver creates a new hardware flow on the NIC employing a packet match scheme using all the microflow fields. The NIC also programs a NIC hardware pipeline with the new hardware flow using a match scheme that may depend on the available hardware resources, such as the size of a TCAM.
