  • Publication number: 20250225122
Abstract: Techniques are provided for storage tier verification checks. A determination is made that a mount operation of an aggregate of a set of volumes stored within a multi-tier storage environment has completed. A first metafile and a second metafile are maintained to track information related to the storage of objects of a volume of the aggregate within a remote object store that is a tier of the multi-tier storage environment. A distributed verification is performed between the first metafile and the second metafile to identify an inconsistency. Accordingly, the first metafile and the second metafile are reconciled to address the inconsistency so that storage information within the first metafile and the second metafile are consistent.

  • Patent number: 12347208
Abstract: A system or method trains and implements a machine learning model for object detection. A first computing device remote to a vehicle trains a machine learning model by receiving a decoded set of previously encoded training image data and training the machine learning model to detect objects within images based on the decoded set of training image data. A processor of a second computing device encodes at least one image captured by a camera, decodes the encoded image, and executes the machine learning model to extract a set of objects from the decoded image.

  • Publication number: 20250211622
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data processing in a computing system are described. The computing system may receive a notification of an update to network security objects hosted in diverse substrates within the computing system. The computing system may retrieve a network security policy for a service instance impacted by the update. The computing system may update the network security policy for the service instance according to a network security configuration of the hosting substrate. The computing system may translate the updated network security policy into access control lists (ACLs) for network entities managing communications between service instances within the computing system. The computing system may store the ACLs in respective data repositories that are accessible to the network entities. The computing system may transmit a notification that the ACLs are available for deployment, thereby causing the network entities to retrieve the ACLs from the respective data repositories.

  • Patent number: 12327019
Abstract: An object-based data storage service receives a request to store a data object in association with a smart data storage tier. Based at least in part on characteristics of the data object, the object-based data storage service identifies and stores the data object in a first location corresponding to a first data storage tier. The object-based data storage service monitors access to the data object to identify a second set of characteristics of the data object. This second set of characteristics is used to determine that the data object is to be transitioned to a second data storage tier. The object-based data storage service, based at least in part on this determination, stores the data object in a second location corresponding to the second data storage tier.

  • Publication number: 20250165143
Abstract: A method for reducing a memory footprint of data stored in a compressed memory subsystem is described. The method includes selecting a read/write data to store in the compressed memory subsystem. The method also includes searching a first compressed data storage pool of the compressed memory subsystem corresponding to a compressed size of the read/write data to identify a first free data block. The method further includes storing the read/write data in a second free data block from a second compressed data storage pool of the compressed memory subsystem corresponding to a compressed size of the read/write data if the first compressed data storage pool is exhausted.

  • Publication number: 20250158913
Abstract: A network device in a first fabric of an overlay network is provided. During operation, the network device can receive a route advertisement from a border device via which the network device communicates outside of the first fabric. The network device can determine, based on an indicator in the route advertisement, whether a host route associated with a host coupled to a second fabric of the overlay network is included in the route advertisement. If the indicator indicates that the host route is included in the route advertisement, the network device can store the host route in a data structure on the network device. The network device can also program, in the local forwarding hardware, a prefix route associated with the host route. If the network device detects a packet destined to the host device, the network device can program the host route in the forwarding hardware.
