  • Publication number: 20210170357
Abstract: The present invention discloses a membrane-less reactor design for microbial electrosynthesis of alcohols from carbon dioxide (CO2). The membrane-less reactor design thus facilitates higher and efficient CO2 transformation to alcohols via single pot microbial electrosynthesis. The reactor design operates efficiently avoiding oxygen contact at working electrode without using membrane, in turn there is an increase in CO2 solubility and its bioavailability for subsequent CO2 conversion to alcohols at faster rate. The present invention further provides a process of operation of the reactor for biotransformation of the carbon dioxide.

  • Publication number: 20210174221
Abstract: Systems and methods that determining a solution for a real-time message are provided. Multiple messages of different types are received from multiple platforms. The messages were generated in response to errors caused by applications monitored by the platforms. For each message, a language processing system determines the content of the message and the machine learning system determines a classification of the message. The set of message candidates are generated by comparing the classification and the content of the message to historical messages. From the set of message candidates, solution messages are identified. A recommended solution is determined from the solution messages.

  • Publication number: 20210144094
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for extending OpenvSwitch (OVS) megaflow offloads to hardware to address hardware pipeline limitations. Under a method implemented on a compute platform including a Network Interface Controller (NIC) having one or more ports and running software including OVS software and a Linux operating system having a kernel including a TC-flower module and a NIC driver a new megaflow is created with a mask in the OVS software employing a subset of microflow fields for a packet. The microflow fields and the megaflow mask is sent to the NIC driver. A new megaflow is implemented in the NIC driver employing a subset of the microflow fields and the NIC driver creates a new hardware flow on the NIC employing a packet match scheme using all the microflow fields. The NIC also programs a NIC hardware pipeline with the new hardware flow using a match scheme that may depend on the available hardware resources, such as the size of a TCAM.

  • Publication number: 20210081202
Abstract: Techniques for providing high-performance buffer caches for transactional input/output (I/O) systems are disclosed. The techniques include obtaining a first logical creation time of a resource to be acquired by the first transaction during a pre-commit phase of a first transaction with an I/O system. When the first logical creation time exceeds a latest logical creation time from a set of resources previously acquired by the first transaction, the first logical creation time of the resource is compared with an earliest logical termination time from the set of resources. When the first logical creation time of the resource exceeds the earliest logical termination time from the set of resources, a conflict between the resource and the set of resources is detected, and a restart of the first transaction is triggered.
