  • Patent number: 11354632
Abstract: A system includes a customer database that stores user information concerning a plurality of customers, a network interface configured to communicate data over a network, and a processing circuit comprising a processor and memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive an indication that a customer is within a predetermined distance from an automated teller machine (ATM), transmit, responsive to receiving the indication, an authorization signal to a customer computing device associated with the customer, the authorization signal configured to activate an ATM pre-stage function of an application implemented on the customer computing device, receive, by the network interface over the network, customer transaction preferences from the customer computing device, and authorize an ATM transaction at the ATM based on the received customer transaction preferences.

  • Patent number: 11348076
Abstract: A method performed by a processor of a provider computing system includes allowing an account holder at the provider to initiate a transaction with the provider remotely (e.g., via smartphone, online banking, etc.), by submitting a request for a specified transaction to be picked up in a lockbox at a provider's lockbox location. The pickup and completion of the account holder's requested transaction occurs at a lockbox location that has a plurality of lockboxes. The lockbox allows the account holder to access the facility at the account holder's leisure, both in time and location. The lockbox pickup service alleviates the uncertainty, fluctuating time cost, and inconvenient operating hours by allowing the account holder to request transactions with an easy to use interface resulting in a lockbox to be accordingly prepped so that the account holder can provide the proper authentication information and access the lockbox.

  • Patent number: 11055791
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses using a processor coupled to a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions. The processor is structured to count a first amount of currency, wherein the first amount of currency is the actual amount of currency received by a teller money drawer, receive an indication of a second amount of currency, wherein the second amount of currency is an expected amount of currency, compare the first amount of currency to the second amount of currency, discover a discrepancy between the first amount of currency and the second amount of currency, and transmit discrepancy information to be displayed on a teller computing device.

  • Patent number: 11030592
Abstract: A robotic device for transporting physical money including a receiving interface, a counter mechanism, a storage vault, and a control circuit. The receiving interface receives physical money. The counter mechanism is connected to the receiving interface and receives and counts the physical money inserted into the receiving interface. The storage vault stores the physical money counted by the counter mechanism and remains closed when the robotic device is at a first location. The control circuit determines an amount of physical money stored in the storage vault based on the counted physical money, controls a drive system of the robotic device to cause the robotic device to travel from the first location to a second location, and opens the storage vault when the robotic device reaches the second location.

  • Patent number: 11010737
Abstract: Systems and methods for provisioning a mobile device are described. Provisioning of a mobile device may include binding the device to financial account(s) associated with a financial institution computing system or binding an application installed on the device to the financial account(s). Such systems and methods may use ATMs to facilitate communication with the device and retrieve a unique identifier. The unique identifier, whether received from the ATM or through another communication channel, may be used to further verify the identity of a user of the device as well as verify that the device belongs to or is being used by the same user that has the financial. Once the user is verified and the mobile device is determined to belong to or used by the user, the mobile device can be provisioned by binding either the entire device or an application on the device to the financial account(s).

  • Patent number: 10878495
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for enrolling a user with a product of a financial institution. A computing device associated with a financial institution includes a network interface enabling the computing device to exchange information over a network, one or more processors, and non-transitory machine-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations include establishing a short-range communication channel with a user device associated with a user based on a tap exchange and receiving personal information from the user device over the short-range communication channel. The personal information is associated with an enrollment of the user with a product of the financial institution. The operations further include providing the personal information to a computing system associated with the financial institution to enroll the user with the product.

  • Patent number: 10846668
Abstract: A method performed by a processor of a financial institution computing system includes allowing an account holder at the financial institution to initiate a transaction with the financial institution remotely (e.g., via smartphone app, online banking portal, etc.), by submitting a request for a branch of the financial institution to provide the specified transaction to the account holder's vehicle upon arrival of the account holder. The pickup and completion of the account holder requested transaction occurs in a designated spot near the financial institution's branch location and from the convenience of the account holder's vehicle. The curbside service alleviates the uncertainty and fluctuating time cost to engage in transactions at a branch of a financial institution by providing an account holder with a user interface to make a transaction request that will be ready to complete when the account holder arrives at the chosen time.

  • Patent number: 10687168
Abstract: Systems and methods of adjusting computing device applications, such as smartphone applications, based on external beacon identifiers are described. Based on the identifier of the beacon detected by the smartphone, the smartphone application communicates with a backend server to receive location-specific information based on the identifier of the detected beacon. The location-specific information includes a location-specific user interface. In some arrangements, the location-specific user interface includes a designated user authentication level that varies from other location-specific user interfaces.
