  • Patent number: 5097432
Abstract: An evaluation method of a flow analysis on molding of a molten material is achieved in a system of performing a flow analysis on an in-mold molten material through breakdown of a molded part model into minute elements and numerical analysis thereof including the calculi of finite elements, boundary elements, finite differences, FAN and the like. One or more temperature conditions of the molten material are provided with a plurality of loading times respectively for conducting an analysis and from the obtained operational results of the temperature distribution of the molten material after loading, an average temperature or a medium layer temperature of each element is calculated as a function Tn=fn(t) having a variable of the loading time. This function is graphically indicated on a display apparatus to determine the ranges of the molten material temperature and the loading time at a predetermined mold temperature.

  • Patent number: 5008052
Abstract: A mold clamping pressure control method for injection compression molding through adjustment of the oil pressure in the mold clamping cylinder by the mold clamping cylinder control valve, wherein a resin temperature in the mold is detected by a resin temperature sensor, and detected values thereof are converted by a converter into electric signals, which are in turn compared with a series of the preset pressure changeover temperature setting values to output pressure changeover signals whenever the detected values correspond to the preset values. The pressure changeover signal selects any of a series of the preset pressure setting values to output the valve opening-shutting directing signals converted into a certain valve opening-shutting amount, thereby to control the opening-shutting amounts of the mold clamping pressure control valve.

  • Patent number: 4750128
Abstract: In a computer-controlled fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine, two basic pieces of information, i.e. airflow data Q and engine speed data N, are processed by an analog operating circuit to produce a basic injection pulse signal, whose pulse width equals Q/N. The data Q/N is used by a microcomputer, when the microcomputer is in normal state, to produce a corrected injection pulse signal by using various engine parameters in the same manner as in conventional arrangements, and fuel flow is determined by the width of the corrected injection pulse signal. When malfunctioning of the microcomputer is detected, the basic injection pulse signal from the analog operating circuit is used in place of the corrected injection pulse signal from the microcomputer to determine the fuel flow. The width of the basic injection pulse signal may be lengthened when the microcomputer is in abnormal state so that air/fuel ratio is almost accurately controlled without the microcomputer.
