  • Publication number: 20020182503
Abstract: An electrochemical storage device includes a pair of electrodes, a separator present between the pair of electrodes, and an electrolyte solution with which the electrodes and the separator are impregnated. The electrodes are obtained by allowing at least one selected from a transition metal nitrate compound and a solution of the transition metal nitrate compound to be adsorbed on a carbon-based material and performing an additional treatment so that at least one of a transition metal oxide and a transition metal hydroxide is supported on the carbon-based material. Thus, an electrode material containing a reduced amount of halogenated ions mixed on which a transition metal oxide or a transition metal hydroxide is supported efficiently can be produced, and an electrochemical storage device having a high capacitance and a long life and a method for producing the same can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20020166685
Abstract: The invention provides a technique for mounting circuit elements, in which short circuits between the electrodes of the circuit element do not occur when using silver paste to mount the circuit element. On a board 1 between conductors 2 on which a circuit element 4 is mounted, an insulating resin layer 6 is formed, which is about twice as wide as the circuit element 4, and has a thickness that fills the gap between the mounted circuit element 4 and the board 1. The insulating resin layer 6 is made of a resin whose curing speed is faster than that of a silver paste 5, and is cured at the same time as the curing step of the silver paste 5.

  • Patent number: 4989338
Abstract: A method of inspecting V-shaped grooves carried out in the following steps. Coordinates of points more than 20 per groove on a substrate formed with V-shaped grooves are measured with a stylus moving in directions perpendicular to longitudinal directions of the grooves. Measured data within distances at least 10 .mu.m from edges and groove bottoms of the grooves are removed from all data to find effective measuring segments. Shapes formed by straight lines are then calculated on the basis of the remaining data on effective measuring segments having a length of more than 40 .mu.m. A method of working V-shaped grooves is effected in the following steps. A circle having a diameter substantially equal to that of fibers to be supported in the groove is so drawn that the circle is inscribed in an interior of a V-shaped groove calculated by the above method.
