  • Patent number: 5742216
Abstract: A contact making and breaking device improves the dielectric absorption property of capacitance between one signal wire brought out from a reed switch and an conductive casing. A low current measurement system using the contact making breaking device greatly shortens the measurement waiting time when low current is measured. The contact making and breaking device includes a reed switch with first and second signal wires brought out from either end, a conductive casing, and an insulating material formed between at least the first signal wire and the conductive casing. A tubular conductor is emplaced in the region in which the insulating material is formed and at least partially encloses the reed switch. The tubular conductor is connected to the first signal wire.

  • Patent number: 4701701
Abstract: An instrument for measuring the characteristics of a circuit element has a plurality of SMUs for applying test signals to the terminals of the circuit element and measuring the resulting output signals. A control circuit compares the output signal value to a reference value while varying the test signals. The test signal is varied by an integrator which operates in two modes, a search mode with no feedback to quickly bring the output signal to the approximate value of the reference, and a feedback mode to hold the output signal at the reference value while a measurement is made. The parameters for setting stable operating conditions for the feedback loop with the circuit element being tested are stored in a memory of the control circuit.

  • Patent number: 4377048
Abstract: A sheet fixing device for fixing a sheet such as a transparent map film sheet on the display surface of the display surface of a cathode ray tube of an information display apparatus such as an automobile position display apparatus. The device has a sheet pressing member having provided with sheet pressing rubber portions and adapted to be biased toward the display surface by a plurality of independent biasing member spaced from one another. The sheet pressing member is adapted to be driven by sheet pressing member lifting levers which in turn are actuated by cams adapted to be rotated together with a sheet guide. When the sheet guide is rotated to the position for taking out the sheet, the cams actuate the sheet pressing member lifting levers to cause the latter to drive the sheet pressing member away from the display surface of the cathode ray tube.

  • Patent number: 3961373
Abstract: A magnetic tape player for playing multi-track tapes includes a head positioning cam movable in accordance with the track changing operation of the player. An indicator lever arm has a cam follower abutting the cam and is pivoted to different positions by rotation of the cam. The lever arm is connected by a flexible cord to a track indicator body urged in one direction by means of a spring, so that the track indicating body is moved to different positions indicative of the selected track as the lever arm is moved by the head positioning cam.
