  • Patent number: 7121202
Abstract: A plate is consecutively mounted on the outer peripheral surface of a recording drum under pressure from a squeegee roller, with its leading edge clamped by leading edge clamps. Guide members for causing the squeegee roller to climb up thereon are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the recording drum such that the squeegee roller is prevented from interfering with the leading edge clamps during plate mounting. Without the need to stop the rotation of the recording drum during plate mounting, a time period required for plate mounting can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060197377
Abstract: A vehicle motion state control device controls an actuator capable of regulating a vehicle motion state so that an actual yaw rate approaches a target yaw rate determined based on a steer angle and a vehicle speed, target yaw rate limit values for left and right turn directions of a vehicle are individually determined by a target yaw rate limit value determining mechanism based on detected lateral acceleration, detected vehicle speed, and predetermined set minimum lateral acceleration set in a direction opposite to that of the detected lateral acceleration; and target yaw rates for the left and right turn directions are determined by a target yaw rate determining mechanism 5 while limiting them by the determined target yaw rate limit values. Thus, an over steer control is started at an early timing when an abrupt steering operation at a large steer angle occurs which causes a phase difference to the yaw rate and the lateral acceleration.

  • Publication number: 20060176569
Abstract: A lens array sheet, a transparent screen using the same, and a rear-projection display device are provided in which it is possible to control a perspective angle for the image in both a horizontal direction and a vertical direction without causing a problem in that a gain of a light is reduced by an optical absorption and an S/N ratio is reduced by an increased white dispersion. First lens and second lens arrays are formed by disposing a plurality of half-cylindrical lenses in parallel on a common plane such that longitudinal directions of the cylindrical lenses should be orthogonal to each other. A unified lens array layer and a shading layer in which a section through which a light does not transmit is formed on a focal plane of the lens array layer form a lens array sheet. Furthermore, fresnel lenses are combined so as to form a transparent screen.

  • Patent number: 7053865
Abstract: Various embodiments of a 3-D display device are disclosed which simultaneously provide a wide field of view and a large eye relief and yet do not require that the viewer wear glasses or the like in order to keep the images intended for only the left eye from entering the view field of the right eye and vice-versa. The light that forms left and right display images is made independent in left and right optical paths, either by having orthogonal polarizations, wavelengths that do not overlap, or by time-multiplexing the left and right images in different time periods that do not coincide.

  • Publication number: 20060018017
Abstract: A 3-D viewing system is disclosed that enables multiple operators to share a common objective element while readily adjusting the orientation of images that are displayed to one or more moveable display units. The orientation of images that are displayed at a movable display unit can be made to automatically depend on the position/orientation of the display unit. Thus, greater freedom in viewing postures is provided than previously available in 3-D viewing systems that share a common objective element, and each operator may view a 3-D image with proper perspective for his position/orientation. In order to reduce the number of optical components, the need to adjust optical components, and reduce costs, images from at least two different optical perspectives may be time-division multiplexed onto a single optical detecting device.

  • Patent number: 6976956
Abstract: The illuminating light transmitted by the light guide inserted through the elongate inserted section is projected out of the distal end surface of the inserted section. The illuminated objects pass through the respective pupils of the two objective lens systems arranged in parallel within the distal end section of the inserted section and their images are formed on the focal surface. The respective images are transmitted to the rear side by one common relay lens system. The transmitted final images are formed respectively on the image taking surfaces of the image taking devices. The respective images photoelectrically converted by the respective image taking devices are processed to be signals, are displayed in the monitor and are stereo-inspected through shutter spectacles.
