  • Patent number: 6845107
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to efficiently transmit data for statistical multiplexing which is required for control using statistical multiplexing. By utilizing private packets, respective encoding devices transmit encoding difficulties serving as the data for statistical multiplexing to a multiplexer (4) via the same transmission channels as encoded video data and audio data are transmitted. The multiplexer (4) conducts multiplexing processing on data supplied from the respective encoding devices at a first rate R1 larger than a transmission rate on a transmission channel of a subsequent stage, and outputs a transport stream (TSd including the private packets to a statistical multiplexing computer.

  • Patent number: 6845330
Abstract: An electromagnetic flowmeter includes a coil, exciting section, noise eliminating section, and arithmetic processing section. The coil applies a magnetic field to a fluid flowing in a pipe line. The exciting section supplies an exciting current to the coil. The noise eliminating section eliminates noise from a measurement signal detected from the fluid under excitation by using a differential frequency component between a commercial power frequency and an exciting frequency. The arithmetic processing section calculates a measurement flow rate on the basis of the measurement signal output from the noise eliminating section.

  • Patent number: 6844886
Abstract: In a network control system, a device has screen display data indicative of its operating screen, and a controller issues a screen request (101) to obtain the screen display data, etc., as screen information (111) from the device. By using the screen display data, etc., the controller displays the operating screen. When an operation is carried out to the operating screen, its operation information and identification information of the screen display data are sent to the device as operation request (241). The device executes a function corresponding to the operation request. As a result, when the screen display data in the device is changed, the device sends the changed screen display data, etc., to the controller as screen information (121).

  • Publication number: 20050008111
Abstract: An error rate of a bit synchronous circuit is decreased to a large extent by preventing following excessively the jitters included in input data. A phase detect circuit of a bit synchronous circuit includes a majority decision circuit. The majority decision circuit counts UP0 and DN0 signals as a phase comparison result of comparing phases by a UP0 counter and a DN0 counter for a period of time, and its count number is judged by a magnitude relation determination circuit. The magnitude relation determination circuit outputs an UP signal if the UP0 signal is majority, a DN signal if the DN0 signal is majority, and a FIX signal if the UP0 signal is equal to the DN0 signal. Accordingly, since it is possible to prevent following the jitters included in input data, etc., an error rate for bit synchronization can be reduced to a large extent.

  • Publication number: 20050009313
Abstract: An internal wire is formed via an oxide film on the front surface of a semiconductor substrate so as to extend toward the boundary relative to an adjacent integrated circuit region. An upper supporting base is fixedly formed on the front surface of the semiconductor substrate by means of a resin layer of epoxy adhesive or the like, and a lower supporting base is fixedly formed on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate by means of a resin layer of epoxy adhesive or the like, whereby a laminated body is formed. The resin layer and the internal wire are partially removed, leaving a portion of the laminated body, to thereby form an inverted-V shaped groove (a cut-off groove) where a part of the internal wire is exposed to the outside. Thereafter, the resulting cut-off groove is exposed to plasma atmosphere to thereby dissolve, and thus remove, any remaining resin fragments attached to the exposed end portion of the internal wire.
