  • Publication number: 20210178004
Abstract: This invention is an air freshener, one that can be applied to consecutively disseminate scented material into the air, and includes a base member, the base member having a plurality of chambers or cavities provided therein, and into which a fragrance emitting gel may be deposited, during manufacture, with each cavity having a seal member applied thereon, to seal in the gel material. Then, the seal members may be removed consecutively, or in certain instances simultaneously, in order to disseminate the air freshening material from the contained gel to provide for the admittance of fragrance aroma into the surrounding atmosphere. In another embodiment, the base member may have a series of laminates applied to it, each laminate having a fragrance emitting material applied thereto, so that as each laminate is removed, it provides for a sustained emission of a fragrance aroma into the surrounding atmosphere, to function as an air freshener.

  • Patent number: 11013821
Abstract: A paper air freshener, that may be folded into a multi-layered freshener, and may have other layers of polymer, or the like, applied thereto, with the concept of layering said freshener after being saturated or having absorbed the fragrance material, at the various layer levels, provides for a more gradual and controlled release of the fragrance to the ambient air during usage. The layers of paper may be laminated, or may be folded integrally from a singular paper structure, and secured together by various connectors, in preparation for its usage and application. The other layer of polymer forming a seal layer, and being debossed to form a well, into which fragrance material may be applied, during the assembly of the paper air freshener.

  • Patent number: 10874192
Abstract: A fragrance sampler is provided which is made from a bottom ply and a top ply of material and an applicator. A cosmetic sample, such as a wet fragrance, is deposited on the bottom ply. An absorbent applicator attaches to the top ply. The applicator collects a portion from the sample and then applies the portion for testing. A well is formed in at least one of the plies and is sized and shaped to surround the sample. An applicator joins to the other ply and fits within the well. The two plies are then adhered together to form a liquid tight seal between the plies and around the well.

  • Publication number: 20200114036
Abstract: A liquid air freshener or delivery device to deliver ingredients from a liquid state to a vapor state, including a thermoformed container, having a flange, incorporates a window ply, through which fragrant material may be disseminated, having a paper or related ply thereunder, and which can absorb the liquid fragrance or ingredients when usage of the freshener or delivery is initiated. Below the paper ply is a seal layer, that seals the fragrance material or ingredients into the base of the container, until such time as the seal ply may be pierced, to allow the liquid fragrance or ingredients to migrate and saturate the paper ply, to initiate usage of the device. The base of the container, or the impregnatable paper ply, may have an integrally formed one or more piercing devices, that can pierce the seal layer, to initiate dissemination of the fragrance material or ingredients, and its scent or other properties, to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 9850449
Abstract: The fragrant gel polymer system is a process where a complete fragrance formulation remains whole and is then blended with either a polymer or a cross-linking agent. The non-fragrance carrying polymer is then liquefied and made homogenous with a solvent, including esters. The solvents modify viscosity and ease the mixing of the non-fragrance carrying polymer with the fragrance carrying polymer. The method also provides surfactants and wetting agents for further integration and mixing of the fragrance oils with either the polymer or the cross-linking agent during the steps of the process. Mixing of the fragrance carrying polymer and the non-fragrance polymer results in a gel that sets in less time and with less syneresis than existing processes.

  • Patent number: 9623136
Abstract: An auto air freshener provides a parallel spaced apart board and a card that suspending from a hang point. The auto air freshener has a blotter board that includes fragrance oil and other enhancers, a facer card having printed graphics upon one or both surfaces, a clip that spaces the board and the card apart, and a flexible elongated loop that hangs the freshener at a location selected by the user. Alternatively, a pedestal supports the board and the card upright. The freshener invention separates the delivery of fragrance from the visual display of graphics. The separation allows for the manufacture and the usage of the blotter board and the facer card with improved print quality and wider selection of fragrances.

  • Publication number: 20160100670
Abstract: A dry peel cosmetic sampler including a series of plies or layers of material such as polymer, polyethylene, foil, a polymer sheet lined with foil, paper, all of which plies have equivalent dimensions, so that when the sampler is assembled, with all of its plies have no separate edges, when assembled for processing and application to a carrier such as a newspaper, magazine page, and the like. The sampler includes a top ply, a bottom ply, an intermediate ply, having a well formed therein, a sample of cosmetic is applied, and all of said plies are heat sealed through a mild application that allows for the top ply to peel free from the middle and bottom plies during usage. A dry peel base label is secured by a dry peel adhesive to the underside of the bottom ply, so that when the sampler is received by the consumer, the entire sampler can be released from the dry peel base, and conveyed or used separately.
