Abstract: A tap apparatus including a container coupling portion including a liquid inlet portion, a body portion, and a plug valve portion. The body portion included a liquid outlet portion, wherein the liquid outlet portion is in fluid communication with the liquid inlet portion of the container coupling portion. The plug valve portion is configured and arranged to be seated within the body portion, wherein the plug valve portion is configured and arranged to be moved relative to the body portion between an open position, in which a liquid is free to flow from the liquid inlet portion and out through the liquid outlet portion, and a closed position, in which liquid from the liquid inlet portion is prevented from flowing out through the liquid outlet portion. The body portion also includes a plurality of flow channels provided in an interior surface thereof.

Abstract: In one aspect, an example method includes (i) receiving a first group of video content items; (ii) identifying from among the first group of video content items, a second group of video content items having a threshold extent of similarity with each other; (iii) determining a quality score for each video content item of the second group; (iv) identifying from among the second group of video content items, a third group of video content items each having a quality score that exceeds a quality score threshold; and (v) based on the identifying of the third group, transmitting at least a portion of at least one video content item of the identified third group to a digital video-effect (DVE) system, wherein the system is configured for using the at least the portion of the at least one video content item of the identified third group to generate a video content item.

Abstract: The disclosed device provides a high-accuracy plunger arrival detection system comprising a low-power magnetometer with high sensitivity and which is capable of sampling low or high intensity magnetic fields. The device processes gathered data from sensors, stores at least some processed data in memory, executes a trending algorithm which compares the magnetic field of the plunger to the ambient magnetic field or a predetermined set of initialization values, and generates an output which is relayed to a well controller. An output signal may be via hard wire, RF, wireless or other known means. In addition, the implementation of two sensing devices mounted in series and in spaced relation to each other, can provide for an actual plunger average velocity. An actual plunger average velocity, as opposed to approximate average velocity, can be used to better optimize well control and improve safety of the overall well production system.

Abstract: Devices for palliating gastrointestinal strictures using rapid exchange type enteral stent placement catheters. The catheter may include an inner member and an outer member, with the two members being slidable with respect to one another. In various device embodiments, a ramp for directing a guidewire out from within the catheter is provided using portions of the outer member or a shaped mandrel. The inner member may take a number of forms, including a tubular distal portion, a skived or integrally attached elongate midsection, and a proximal portion. A mandrel can be used in a portion proximal of the guidewire ramp, with the mandrel taking one of several disclosed forms.

Abstract: A sensor guard and method of using the sensor guard to protect a sensor element of a fire sensor. The sensor guard includes one or more legs that extend in a direction that is oblique to a central axis of the fire sensor. The fire sensor includes a housing and the sensor element, extending from the housing, for detecting an indication of fire. The sensor guard is mounted on the housing for protecting the sensor element.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and techniques for programming drug delivery are described. Such techniques may account for diffusion and mixing of drug within the fluid or allow for more flexible programming options. In one example, a method may include determining one or more fluid delivery parameters (e.g., volume, flow rate, or period of time) for a fluid that is a mixture of two other fluids. The determination may be based on one or more fluid delivery parameters of the two other fluids and/or a concentration profile representing the mixing between the two other fluids. In other examples, drug delivery programming may be facilitated by the selection of various patterns and steps of drug delivery. The system may track volume of delivered fluid to maintain desired dosing of the patient.

Abstract: An interface actuator device, an interface actuator system, and a system and method for remotely controlling an interface of a control panel are disclosed. The interface actuator device includes an actuator for controlling the interface of the control panel and an attachment mechanism for mounting the interface actuator device to the control panel. The system can further include a camera for capturing images of the interface and a mobile device for controlling the actuator and viewing the images from the camera.

Abstract: A weatherproof back box for receiving a fire alarm notification or other fire alarm device includes a back wall and sidewalls that project from the back wall and define a mouth. The sidewalls further include recessed portions that extend from the back wall toward the mouth, and end prior to the mouth. The back box further includes mounting posts, which are preferably less than 50% of the depth of the back box, that project from the recessed portions into the mouth. Additionally, these mounting posts receive fasteners for securing the fire alarm notification device in the mouth of the back box.

Abstract: A door lock extender and method of using the door lock extender in connection with a control panel box. The door lock extender includes an extender base having a lock slot for accepting a tang latch of a lock and an extender latch that is configured to engage a catch member of a control panel box. In use, the tang latch of the lock is inserted into the lock slot of the extender base. The extender latch engages the catch member on a housing of the control panel box locking a door to the housing while providing sufficient clearance for passage of a cable between the door and the housing.

Additional media includes media generated by consumers, such as media derived from a seed media. A seed media is marked and assembled with supplemental media into a package. The seed media is marked to allow performance of various operations, such as identification of the seed media during the lifetime of the package and attribution when the seed media is incorporated into consumer generated derivative media.
