  • Publication number: 20080026491
Abstract: A method of wafer segmenting is provided. Initially, a wafer having a plurality of devices on a top surface thereof is provided. A passivation layer is formed on the top surface of the wafer to cover the devices. A bottom surface of the first bonding layer is attached to a lower surface of the wafer. In addition, a carrier wafer is provided. A second bonding layer is attached to the first bonding layer to bond the wafer to the support wafer. A segment process is performed to form a plurality of dies. Each die is maintained at the same distance between each other as the distance between the dies before the segment process. The passivation layer is removed and the devices are exposed. A wafer-level testing is performed upon the devices. The second bonding layer and the carrier wafer are removed thereafter.

  • Patent number: 7038361
Abstract: A plasma display panel structure having polarization plate is comprised of plasma display panel and filter, wherein the plasma display panel includes front glass and rear glass. Through the front glass, the plasma display panel displays images to the outside. The location of rear glass is corresponding to that of front glass and there is plasma enclosed between the rear glass and the front glass. The filter is a multiple-layer structure having polarization plate and is disposed upon the front glass. In this plasma display panel structure including plasma display panel having polarization plate, since the polarization plate is comprised in filter, so the showed picture is more color-contrasted and more three-dimensioned after the images showed by the plasma display panel passes through this filter.

  • Publication number: 20050153066
Abstract: A transparent resin having a plurality of transparent particles is spread on an optical sheet. The transparent resin is exposed to ultraviolet light of a first power and then cured by ultraviolet light of a second power, which is greater than the first power. Thus, surface optical layers with different optical properties are easily obtained by only adjusting the power of ultraviolet light, without changing the original content of the surface optical layer or the parameters of its spreading process.

  • Publication number: 20050073629
Abstract: A privacy apparatus has a transparent substrate and a liquid crystal layer formed on the transparent substrate. A thickness of the liquid crystal layer determines a range of viewing angles for the privacy apparatus; and when the thickness is greater, the range of viewing angles is smaller. Moreover, an absorption axis of the liquid crystal layer is substantially parallel to the transparent substrate and is substantially perpendicular to the range of viewing angles.

  • Publication number: 20050070632
Abstract: An antiglare film applicable to polarizers or displays includes a light-transparent resin, first light-transparent particles dispersed on surface of the light-transparent resin and second light-transparent particles dispersed inside the resin. The first light-transparent particles have a same refractive index as that of the resin and particle diameters of 9 to 500 nanometers that provide a less roughness surface of the resin in order to prevent from large angle diffusion to the interior light and improve clarity of image. The second particles have a different refractive index from the resin so as to diffuse the exterior light that comes to the antiglare film so as to decrease glare. The antiglare film can be made by one time of coating. The two layer light-transparent particles provide light interference and achieve a low reflectivity.
