  • Patent number: 10112574
Abstract: In an anchor (10), an insertion hole (42) is formed piercing through an anchor main body (36), and a belt is inserted through the insertion hole (42). A projection (44) is formed at the anchor main body (36) around the entire periphery of the insertion hole (42), and the projection (44) configures an outer peripheral face of the insertion hole (42). The projection (44) projects out toward the radial direction outer side of the insertion hole (42). The surface area of a portion configured by the projection (44) at the outer peripheral face of the insertion hole (42) can accordingly be increased, and the contact surface area of the belt with the outer peripheral face of the insertion hole (42) can be increased, even when the plate thickness dimension of the anchor main body (36) is reduced. This thereby enables the plate thickness dimension of the anchor main body (36) to be reduced.

  • Patent number: 9944309
Abstract: A steering column device has a downward U-shaped attachment bracket, an upward U-shaped lower jacket, a polygonal cylindrical mid jacket 3, a polygonal cylindrical upper jacket 4 inserted into the polygonal cylindrical mid jacket 3 and a shock energy absorbing mechanism 26 to absorb a shock energy at the time of a secondary collision. The shock energy absorbing mechanism 26 has a contracting guide part 27 to perform sliding and contracting operation of the upper jacket 4 to the mid jacket 3 separately from an energy absorbing part 28. The contracting guide part 27 is formed by interposing a plurality of linear guides 29 at an overlapping part between the mid jacket 3 and the upper jacket 4, linear guides 29 in which a plurality of bolls 29b arranged in the sliding direction of the mid jacket 3 and the upper jacket 4 are connected to each other through holders 29a.

  • Patent number: 9902365
Abstract: In a through anchor (10), a guide piece (24) is molded in an area around a through hole (16) in an anchor plate (12), webbing (30) is inserted through an insertion hole (26) in the guide piece (24) in such a way that the webbing is movable along a lengthwise direction, and the webbing (30) is slidably supported on a sliding surface (28) of the guide piece (24). Here, the guide piece (24) is placed only on the whole circumference of the through hole (16) in the anchor plate (12) and allows an entire outer peripheral end surface (12C) of the anchor plate (12) to be exposed. For this reason, the use amount of molding resin of the guide piece (24), which is molded from a relatively high-grade resin, and the cost of the through anchor (10) can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 9598047
Abstract: In a through anchor (10), when an occupant is restrained by webbing (30) in a vehicle emergency, the webbing (30) is moved to the vehicle front side in an insertion hole (22) of a guide piece (18) by movement of the occupant due to inertia, and a vehicle front side end face of the webbing (30) contacts a peripheral face of the insertion hole (22) at high load. A gap is formed between the guide piece (18) and an anchor plate (12). The guide piece (18) is accordingly moved to the vehicle front side with respect to the anchor plate (12) by the webbing (30), thereby enabling occurrence of skewing of the webbing (30) toward the vehicle front side in the insertion hole (20) to be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20160159318
Abstract: At a through anchor, a guide piece is molded at a periphery of a through-hole of an anchor plate. A webbing is inserted-through an insert-through hole of the guide piece, and the webbing is slidably supported by the guide piece. Further, the guide piece is not fixed to an entire outer peripheral end surface of the anchor plate. Here, an anchor plate thickness direction dimension of a thick portion, that is formed at an edge portion of the through-hole periphery of the anchor plate, is made to be larger than other portions of the anchor plate. Therefore, positional offset of the guide piece with respect to the anchor plate can be suppressed.
