Patent number: 5118040Abstract: An apparatus for washing the window glass of a vehicle comprising an intermediate container having an insulated construction and an electric heater which is connected to both a main tank for storing unheated washing fluid and an outlet from which the heated washing fluid is sprayed onto the glass. When the vehicle is turned on, the heater is turned on as well. Thus, with the vehicle in operation, the washing fluid is continually heated to a required temperature and held in the insulated intermediate container. As a result, it is possible to spray a required quantity of heated washing fluid at any time without excessive loading strain on the vehicle's battery and without excessive power consumption.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 1990Date of Patent: June 2, 1992Inventor: Tadashi Abe

Patent number: 4580890Abstract: A paper feeding system for a copying apparatus has an auxiliary paper feeding unit which feeds paper to a photocopying member over a longer path than that of a primary paper feeding unit. The paper feeding system is provided with a drawing-out roller for feeding paper from the auxiliary unit to a stand-by position which is provided with a pair of auxiliary paper feeding rollers, for feeding paper from the stand-by position into the copying apparatus, and a detector for detecting paper at the stand-by position. When no paper is detected at the stand-by position, a signal is provided to the drawing-out roller to feed another paper from the auxiliary unit to the stand-by position. The stand-by position is selected so that the length of the paper feeding path from the stand-by position to the photocopying member is about equal to the path from the primary paper feeding unit.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 1983Date of Patent: April 8, 1986Assignee: Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tsugio Sugizaki, Tadashi Abe

Patent number: 4002840Abstract: An angle-modulated signal transmission system comprises first and second filters for filtering signal components from first and second modulation signals supplied thereto. The filters eliminate a certain frequency band which tends to cause interference distortion in transmitted and demodulated signals due to crosstalk produced between first and second angle-modulated signal transmission paths. A mixer mixes the output signals of the first and second filters, with a certain mixing ratio. First and second adders add the signal components of a certain frequency band of the first and second modulation signals, thus mixed and processed by the mixer and the signal components of a frequency band other than the certain band of the first and second modulation signals. First and second angle modulators modulate carriers responsive to the resulting output signals of the first and second adders and send the output angle-modulated signals thereof respectively to the transmission paths.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1975Date of Patent: January 11, 1977Assignees: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., Victor Company of Japan, LimitedInventors: Tadashi Abe, Yukinobu Ishigaki
