  • Patent number: 4770832
Abstract: A process relating to the manufacturing of a structural reinforcing material which is made of a glass fiber reinforced plastic, a carbon fiber reinforced plastic or similar material wherein a precise sectional shape is not required. A fiber body including a plurality of reinforcing fibers is impregnated with a hardenable material and subsequently introduced into a drawing die having a desired sectional shape so as to be formed into a drawn article having a predetermined sectional shape. A tape is coiled therearound so as to cover the article. A string member is coiled therearound to thrust into the surface of the article. Thereafter, the drawn fiber body is subjected to a hardening treatment and the tape and string member are removed.

  • Patent number: 4709221
Abstract: A sheet coil in the form of a conductor on an insulating substrate has a mending metal portion at a side portion forming the conductor gap so as to narrow the gap width. The sheet coil can be produced by forming a coil pattern on a base material made up of an insulating substrate and a metal layer laminated thereon by using a photosensitive material. The portion of the metal layer not covered with the photosensitive material is removed by etching, and, while the photosensitive material remains, a metal plating treatment is carried out so as to narrow the etched width of the metal layer.

  • Patent number: 4694419
Abstract: A programmable controller for controlling a plant on the basis of a stored program includes a processing unit for reading out an instruction from a program memory to process the instruction. In the processing unit, it is determined whether the instruction read out from the memory is an instruction taking a register-modified addressing mode or an instruction taking a direct addressing mode. When the read-out instruction is an instruction taking the direct addressing mode, a plant is directly addressed by the address part of the instruction. Then, an arithmetic operation is performed using the state information which is read out from the plant thus addressed, or plant control information is sent from the processing unit to the plant thus addressed.

  • Patent number: 4688193
Abstract: A relay ladder sequence circuitry having i columns and j rows is divided into a plurality of sections each having a predetermined number of rows, and the bit informations are processed in a parallel manner in the rows of the sections. More specifically, the program in accordance with the sequence ladder construction is memorized and are successively read out as the addresses of the program are appointed. The signals of relay contacts as the bit information are processed for each line in accordance with the read out program, so that a high processing speed is attained.

  • Patent number: 4684567
Abstract: A reinforcing structural material is provided made of a plurality of fiber assembly cords interwoven into a braid, each of the cords being comprised of a plurality of fibers, and the braids being impregnated with a bonding agent for bonding together the fibers and cords. The reinforcing braid is useful for reinforcing a fibrous inorganic composite providing a product which is light in weight but excellent in strength characteristics.

  • Patent number: 4628436
Abstract: A digital controller for controlling a plurality of processes. In view of the fact that in case a plurality of processes of a like nature are to be controlled, same operands are used for performing a similar arithmetic operation a number of times, instructions are stored in a common memory for simplifying the programming, while the operands are stored in memories each incorporated in each of the processors adapted for controlling individually the objective processes, to thereby allow arithmetic processings to be performed by the processors in parallel with one another. Overall processing speed is made thus significantly high.

  • Patent number: 4044003
Abstract: 1,4-Benzodiazepine derivatives of the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl, a haloalkyl, a cycloalkylalkyl, an alkoxyalkyl, an acyloxyalkyl, an alkylthioalkyl, an alkylaminoalkyl, a dialkylaminoalkyl, a hydroxyalkyl, carbamoyl, or an N-alkylcarbamoyl; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or a lower alkyl; X is hydrogen, a halogen, nitro, or trifluoromethyl; A is a group of the formula, ##STR2## (wherein Y and Z each represent hydrogen, a halogen, a lower alkyl, or nitro) and a salt thereof, are prepared by reacting a 1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one compound of the formula, ##STR3## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, X, Y and Z are the same as defined above, with diborane in an inert solvent.

  • Patent number: 4002611
Abstract: A 1-alkyl-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-3H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative is produced by contacting a 1-aminoethyl-indole derivative with a suitable oxidizing agent and then reducing the resulting 1-acyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative. The starting 1-aminoethyl-indole derivative is prepared by subjecting a 3-phenyl-indole derivative to cyanomethylation (or carbamoylemethylation) and then reducing the resulting 1-cyanomethyl- (or 1-carbamoylmethyl)-indole derivative. The 1-acyl-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-3H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative is useful as a tranquillizer, muscle-relaxant, etc.
