  • Patent number: 9452670
Abstract: A vehicle includes a power unit with an engine that transmits drive force forward and backward to front and rear wheels via propeller shafts. The power unit is supported on a vehicle frame by engine mounts provided at three locations. An engine mount on one side of a crankshaft is farther from the center of gravity of the power unit than the other two mounts. This engine mount joins the crank case and the vehicle frame. The two other engine mounts on the other side of the crankshaft are closer to the center of gravity. These engine mounts join the vehicle frame and front and rear ends of an engine hanger that is joined to the crank case and extends forward and backward beyond at least one of a front end and a rear end of the crank case.

  • Publication number: 20150338505
Abstract: A stationary object decision processing unit 14 decides whether range R and Doppler frequency fd corresponding to peaks detected by the peak detection processing unit 13 satisfy geometric positional relationships between a radar and a stationary object. If they satisfy the geometric positional relationships, it recognizes that the object associated with the peaks is a stationary object. Thus, even if the number of peaks detected by the peak detection processing unit 13 increases, it can accurately decide whether the object associated with the peaks is a stationary object or not with a small amount of calculation.

  • Publication number: 20150270238
Abstract: The jointed structure of the present invention is configured such that a first metal layer and a second metal layer are jointed together. More specifically, the jointed structure of the present invention includes: the first metal layer which receives heat from a heat generating body; and the second metal layer which is jointed to the first metal layer and receives heat from the first metal layer, for example. The first metal layer and the second metal layer according to the present invention are jointed together by solid-phase joining via a joining interface microstructure that has a thickness of 50 nm or less. Since the first metal surface and the second metal surface are jointed together without via a brazing material, adhesive or other material, the jointed structure of the present invention exhibits high conductivity and heat resistance property. Such a jointed structure is suitable for power modules.

  • Publication number: 20150044496
Abstract: A jointed body that has been solid-phase jointed at normal temperature and that has a non-conventional structure is presented. The jointed body is formed by solid-phase joining a first jointed member to a second jointed member, and has a junction interface between the first member and the second member. This jointed body includes an average crystal grain size in a near interface structure that constitutes a near interface area having a total width of 20 micrometers and extending at both sides of the junction interface as a center is 75-100% of an average crystal grain size in an around interface structure that constitutes around interface areas located at both outer sides of the near interface area. In the jointed body, the near interface structure after the joining is almost the same as the structure before the joining, allowing the jointed body to exert similar characteristics to the jointed members.

  • Publication number: 20140296018
Abstract: A transmission includes a drive force transmission/interruption mechanism that restricts the rotation of a propeller shaft. By operating a shift lever, the shift operation of the transmission and the operation of the drive force transmission/interruption mechanism can be performed, and a lock operation and an unlock operation of a differential lock mechanism can be performed. When a driver wants to bring a vehicle into a parking state, by operating a shift lever, a state is provided where a drive force transmission/interruption mechanism is locked so that the rotation of a propeller shaft is restricted, and the vehicle can be held in a stopped state by bringing a differential lock mechanism into a locked state. Since the vehicle can be brought into a parking state using the shift lever, a so-called parking lever becomes unnecessary so that the number of operation elements can be reduced.
