  • Publication number: 20040045641
Abstract: This invention provides a wear-resistant copper-base alloy, which can not only enhance wear resistance in a high temperature range but also enhance crack resistance and machinability and which is especially suitable for forming a weld bead layer. The wear-resistant copper-base alloy is composed, by weight, of 5.0 to 20.0% nickel, 0.5 to 5.0% silicon, 3.0 to 20.0% iron, 1.0 to 15.0% chromium, 0.01 to 2.00% cobalt, 3.0 to 20.0% by weight one or more of molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium, and the balance of copper with inevitable impurities. It is preferable to contain 0.01 to 5.0% niobium carbide.

  • Patent number: 6537338
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaner for a vehicle capable of preventing introduced air from directly striking an air cleaner element and of reducing a decrease in intake efficiency to a minimum. The air cleaner unit for a vehicle of the present invention is provided with an air cleaner box 12, an air cleaner element 16 mounted on an upper portion in the air cleaner box, an exhaust port 12a formed at the upper front portion of the air cleaner box 12, an intake port 12b formed on the side of the exhaust port at the front portion of the air cleaner, and an intake duct 15 inserted into the air cleaner box through the intake port, wherein the downstream of the intake duct is linearly mounted toward the lower rear portion in the air cleaner box and an opening in the downstream of the intake duct is arranged below the air cleaner element.

  • Publication number: 20020102782
Abstract: A gate electrode conductive film is formed on the surface of a semiconductor substrate. First and second gate mask patterns made of a first insulating material are formed on the gate electrode conductive film on first and second sections. Sidewall spacers are formed on the sidewalls of the first and second gate mask patterns, the sidewall spacer being made of a second insulating material having an etching resistance different from the first insulating material. The second section is covered with a mask pattern and the sidewall spacer on the sidewall of the first gate mask pattern is removed. The gate electrode conductive film is etched to leave first and second gate electrodes on the first and second sections.

  • Patent number: 6376386
Abstract: There are included steps of forming a silicon nitride layer on a silicon layer or a silicon oxide layer, loading the silicon layer or the silicon oxide layer and the silicon nitride layer in a dry etching atmosphere, and selectively etching the silicon nitride layer with respect to the silicon layer or the silicon oxide layer by flowing a fluorine gas consisting of any one of CH2F2, CH3F, or CHF3 and an inert gas to the dry etching atmosphere. Hence, in the etching process of the silicon nitride layer, the etching selectivity of the silicon nitride layer to Si or SiO2 can be enhanced and also etching anisotropy can be enhanced.
