  • Publication number: 20030174414
Abstract: In a lens system, an auto-focus (AF) mode switch for selecting an AF mode is provided at a focus demand and, for example, a continuous AF mode is selected by the AF mode switch. Then, a CPU switches the continuous AF to a manual focus (MF) when an operation of the focus demand is executed and switches the MF to the continuous AF when an AF start switch provided at the focus demand is turned ON. Thus, when an operation of the MF is executed during focus adjustment by the AF, the focus adjustment by the AF is switched to focus adjustment by the MF, and thereafter, the focus adjustment by the MF is never switched to the focus adjustment by the AF unless the AF start switch is turned ON, and is therefore effective, for example, in the case where an operator wishes to use the AF only for a short time or in the case where an operator wishes to make a camera unfocused intentionally with the MF during the focus adjustment by the AF.

  • Publication number: 20030174231
Abstract: A focus detecting system for determining the focus state of an imaging lens, such as a camera lens, is disclosed. Object light not forming an image for image production is deflected along an optical axis through a relay lens to a focus state detection unit that includes image detecting elements with light receiving surfaces that are equidistant in front of and behind a position conjugate with a light receiving surface for image production. Either the relay lens or the focus state detection unit is moveable along the optical axis to vary how far the light receiving surfaces are out of focus. A diaphragm opening of the imaging lens determines if and by how much the relay lens and focus state detection unit are relatively moved. Evaluation values of the out of focus amount are compared in order to control focusing of the imaging lens.

  • Publication number: 20030140949
Abstract: In a substrate treating unit, a removal liquid supplying mechanism supplies a removal liquid to the surface of a substrate. In order to retain the removal liquid on the surface of the substrate for a fixed time, a spin chuck is operated to spin the substrate at such a low speed as to retain the removal liquid on the substrate, or spins the substrate intermittently, or temporarily stops spinning of the substrate. Thus, treatment with the removal liquid progresses without a further supply of the removal liquid, thereby restraining consumption of the removal liquid.

  • Patent number: 6580571
Abstract: The lens apparatus permits rapid focusing by the operator demanding an autofocus start-up direction to carry out AF in the direction in an AF mode. When a start of the AF mode is instructed, an AF standby state of waiting for the operator to demand the AF start-up direction by operating a focus operation member, thereby permitting the operator to properly demand the AF start-up direction, and permitting the demand to be appropriately detected. When automatically switching from the state where the operator operates the focus operation member to the AF, condition of the switching is that a focus evaluation value exceeds a predetermined threshold based on the operation of the focus operation member, or that an operation amount of the focus operation member is changed more then a predetermined amount, thereby permitting further rapid focusing and improvement of operability.

  • Publication number: 20030090567
Abstract: The object distance display apparatus displays object distances according to actually measured object distance data entered in advance, matched with focusing lens positions acquired from a television lens device, and enables, when the apparatus is connected to the television lens device, any data entry error to be readily identified by graphically displaying the object distance data entered in advance. Actually measured object distance data entered in advance, matched with focusing lens positions, can be graphically displayed on an LCD panel with a touch panel function of the apparatus. If any abnormal datum such as an input error is detected, it can be deleted by touching a delete switch.

  • Publication number: 20030066797
Abstract: An indexer part, removal processing part, interface, and dry processing part are disposed adjacent to each other in a row. That is, the removal processing part that performs removal processing of an organic matter by using a removal liquid is disposed adjacent to the indexer part loading and unloading a substrate with respect to the exterior of an apparatus. The interface that gives and receives a substrate between the removal processing part and dry processing part is interposed between the removal processing part and the dry processing part that performs dry processing of a substrate after passing through the removal processing. This enables to provide a substrate processing apparatus that can completely dry the substrate after a reaction product removal processing.

  • Patent number: 6152542
Abstract: To drive a lens part by a servo motor, an automatic controller turns on the first switch to input a desired value to an error amplifier from a final controlling element, and turns off the second switch to activate a feedback circuit which performs negative feedback. On the other hand, if the desired value is 0, or if the final controlling element does not work, the automatic controller turns off the first switch to shut out the desired value from the final controlling element, and turns on the second switch to activate the feedback circuit which performs positive feedback. This enables hand operation of the lens part with support of the positive feedback.

  • Patent number: 6052537
Abstract: When a return switch gives an instruction to execute a compulsorily-placing of a focus lens to a preset position, a CPU reads the preset position from a memory and moves the focus lens to the preset position. Then, if a focus demand is operated without canceling the compulsorily-placing, the CPU moves the focus lens while gradually reducing a difference between a position designated by the focus demand and an actual position of the focus lens.

  • Patent number: 6007629
Abstract: A chemical supplied onto a substrate is contained in a chemical container. A chemical cooling unit keeps the chemical contained in the chemical container cooled to a proper temperature for storage. A chemical pressure-transferring portion causes the chemical to flow from the chemical container into a chemical introducing pipe. A chemical temperature controller portion changes the temperature of the chemical guided by the chemical introducing pipe to a proper temperature for application on a substrate. The chemical brought to the proper application temperature is guided to a chemical dispensing unit, which dispenses the chemical onto a substrate.
