  • Patent number: 11222760
Abstract: A gas circuit breaker of an embodiment includes a sealed container, a first contact part and a second contact part, an operation mechanism, an insulating nozzle, a pressure accumulator, and an electric field shield. The insulating nozzle is displaced in conjunction with the first contact part in a separation process of the first contact part and the second contact part. The insulating nozzle surrounds arc discharge generated between the first contact part and the second contact part. The electric field shield is attached to the insulating nozzle. The electric field shield has a floating potential during a period of at least part of the separation process. The electric field shield is electrically connected to the second contact part such that the electric field shield has the same potential in a completely open electrode state in which separation between the first contact part and the second contact part is terminated.

  • Publication number: 20210394461
Abstract: In a filament winding apparatus, a supplying device supplies fiber bundles to a surface of a core material. A moving part is movable relative to the core material, and rotatable around a rotational axis extending in a vertical direction. A small diameter aligning guide part is placed at the moving part and has an opening portion through which the core material can pass. The small diameter aligning guide part guides fiber bundles to an outer peripheral surface of the core material such that the fiber bundles are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the core material. The tightening fiber bobbin supporting part is placed at the moving part and rotates around a center of the opening portion. A winding guide rotates with the tightening fiber bobbin supporting part and guides a tightening fiber bundle drawn from a tightening fiber bobbin toward the surface of the core material.

  • Publication number: 20160289627
Abstract: A system and apparatus for constructing complex three-dimensional scaffolds that takes advantage of the physical and chemical properties of gelatin-sugar hydrogels. Novel apparatus for building complex three-dimensional scaffolds for biomimetic applications such as in vitro organ growth, using a gelatin/sugar/water gel, ultraviolet radiation, and heat or enzyme are described. The apparatus produce gelatin-sugar hydrogels demonstrating greater thermal stability, mechanical strength, and resistance to enzymatic degradation. The invention also provides a means to assemble the gelatin sugar hydrogel films into complex three-dimensional structures (scaffolds). To account for the native biochemical factors present in natural scaffolds, methods of conjugating such factors to the gelatin-sugar hydrogel are described. These scaffolds can then be applied for tissue culturing and organ growth.
