Abstract: A method and apparatus for batch-processing of commands through recognition of a panel input pattern in a mobile communication terminal is disclosed. The method includes defining a gesture mapping at least one existing pattern to a command. Upon detecting a pattern input, analyzing the pattern and determining whether the pattern already exists. If it is determined that the pattern already exists, a command corresponding to the pattern is processed in a batch.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of preventing a collision of vehicle in a crossroad are disclosed. The apparatus includes: an information generating unit installed at each of roads near the crossroad for generating real-time vehicle information by integrating vehicle's information including a speed and a position provided from the vehicles on each of the roads and traffic sign information; and an information collecting and providing unit for providing the traffic sign information to the information generating unit, collecting vehicles' information in real-time from the information providing means of a predetermined road near the crossroad, storing the collected information, and providing the collected information to vehicles approaching the crossroad through another roads for the vehicles to predict a collision in the crossroad.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-wavelength laser diode, in which an oscillating structure includes a semiconductor substrate, and a lower cladding layer, an active layer and a ridge formed in their order on the semiconductor substrate. A first metal layer is formed on a first face of the oscillating structure including one end of the ridge, and made of a metal having a high reflectivity in a first wavelength range of at least a predetermined wavelength. A second metal layer is formed on the first metal layer, the second metal layer being made of a metal having a high reflectivity in a second wavelength range under the predetermined wavelength. The multi-wavelength laser diode can improve-the reflective layer structure to achieve a high reflectivity in the entire visible light range.

Abstract: A shooting game is provided based on videos reproduced on a computer by using an augmented reality technology. A 3D graphic object is matched with an existing video by rendering the 3D graphic object and a segmentation object mask of the existing video is overlaid on the 3D graphic object. As a result, three-dimensional effect of the game environment is greatly increased. Further, interactions between the computer and a gamer can be processed by using a gun simulator such as a mouse, a key board, a joystick, and the like. Since the game is played based on the video containing actual elements, the reality of the game environment is greatly enhanced compared to conventional cases where only virtual elements created by using computer graphics are utilized. Therefore, it becomes possible to produce a game having more various interesting scenario with a more real-world-like game environment.

Abstract: A method for the preparation of water-soluble chitosan with high purity and biological activity includes steps of: reacting chitosan oligo sugar acid salt, covalently bonded to an organic or inorganic acid, with trialkylamine in phosphate buffered saline followed by addition of an organic solvent to remove acid salt at C-2 position; adding the thus obtained reaction mixture to an inorganic acid to remove trialkylamine salt at C-6 position; and passing the thus obtained free amine chitosan through an activated carbon/ion exchange resin. The free amine chitosan is water-soluble and has a high bioavailability for application to the medicine and food industries.
