    Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of autoimmune neurological disorder, comprising nanoparticles (PLGA-siSTAT3) comprising STAT3-specific siRNA and a biodegradable polymer material, the present invention having confirmed that, in an EAE animal model, which is a multiple sclerosis or encephalomyelitis animal model, the PLGA-siSTAT3 reduces a clinical symptom index induced by EAE, and inhibits demyelination of the spinal cord. In addition, the present invention has been confirmed to block a STAT3 signaling pathway associated with EAE and thus reduce demyelination, and inhibit microglial and neuroglial expression.
