Abstract: A method and apparatus for sharing digital content and a system for sharing digital content are provided. A multimedia device, such as an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), as the apparatus for sharing digital content, includes a decoder for decoding digital content data; a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for encoding the digital content data decoded by the decoder to have a data format which a remote device supports; and a network interface for transmitting the digital content data re-encoded by the DSP to the remote device. In the present invention, once a user subscribes for a content providing service for the IPTV, the user is able to watch digital content of the IPTV in a remote place by using the mobile phone, or the like without separately subscribing for a service for the mobile phone.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a content hook-up apparatus and method. In particular, the present invention relates to a content hook-up apparatus that searches and downloads various formats of content corresponding to a search list input from a user, performs format conversion on the downloaded content so as to be playable on a predetermined display apparatus, and provides the content subjected to the format conversion to the display apparatus, which can play the content in a streaming manner. The content hook-up apparatus searches and downloads the content at a predetermined interval according to the user's setting and maintains a reserve space for storing the downloaded content.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for providing metadata on parts of a video image, a method for managing the provided metadata and an apparatus using the methods. The terminal device includes a playback unit decoding an input video stream and reconstructing a video image, a display unit displaying the reconstructed video image, a user interface allowing a user to select a segment that is part of the reconstructed video image and receiving metadata regarding the selected segment, a metadata generator generating the received metadata in a structured document, and a network interface transmitting the generated structured document to a predetermined first server.

Abstract: A construction board is formed from a composition comprising one or more of the following ingredients: magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, a binding agent (e.g., perlite), wood shavings, recycled board scraps, and water. The construction board further includes fiberglass and polyester paper sheets on opposite sides of the construction board. A method of fabricating the construction board is also disclosed to include mixing magnesium chloride with water to form a solution, mixing the solution with magnesium oxide, perlite and a binding agent to form a paste, and pouring the paste onto a mold to form a construction board. The paste is poured onto a mold which is then passed through a series of rollers to spread out the paste evenly across the mold and to form the paste into the desired thickness. The resulting construction board is fire and water resistant and much more durable than conventional sheetrock.

Each body has a slot along at least one edge in which to slide the end pieces of each bead string. This jewelry piece can be used as a coupling for a necklace or bracelet or for an earring with hanging beaded strings.
