  • Publication number: 20050018001
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid jetting device which includes: a liquid chamber for containing a liquid to be jetted out; an energy generation element for imparting energy to the liquid in the liquid chamber; and a nozzle for jetting out the liquid in the liquid chamber as a droplet by the energy generation element. In the liquid jetting device, a plurality of the nozzles are arrayed to constitute a head, and a plurality of the heads are arrayed in a direction orthogonal to the array direction of the nozzles to constitute a head array. In addition, the droplet jetted out from each of the nozzle in the head array is deposited on a recording medium to form a dot. Further, the jetting direction of the droplet jetted out from the nozzle can be deflected by controlling the manner in which the energy is imparted to the liquid by the energy generation element. Furthermore, an error in the deposition position of the dot due to an error in the position of the head in the head array is corrected.

  • Patent number: 6841879
Abstract: A field-effect transistor including N?-extension regions, an N+-drain region, an N+-source region and a gate electrode at a surface of a silicon substrate. A sidewall insulating film on one of the side surfaces of the gate electrode partially covers the surface of the N?-extension region, and a sidewall insulating film on the other side surface entirely covers the N?-extension region. Further, a silicon oxide film covers the surface of N?-extension region not covered by the sidewall insulating film. Thereby, resistances of the gate electrode, source region, and drain region can be easily reduced in a transistor having extension regions, which are asymmetrical with respect to the gate electrode.

  • Patent number: 6190808
Abstract: An X-ray mask including a transfer pattern having high accuracy is obtained. In a method of manufacturing the X-ray mask, an X-ray absorber film preventing transmission of an X-ray is formed on a substrate. A resist film is formed on the X-ray absorber film. The substrate is placed on a movable member. Steps of moving the movable member and irradiating the resist film with an energy beam are repeated for carrying out a drawing step of drawing a pattern on the resist film. Between the step of placing the substrate on the movable member and the drawing step, a step of holding a mask member including the resist film, the X-ray absorber film and the substrate to be in a state substantially identical to thermal equilibrium in the drawing step is carried out.

  • Patent number: 6181979
Abstract: A drug preparation system which can indicate which drug processing or inspection station or stations are busy so that drugs can be prepared in an optimum way. Patient data recorded on prescriptions received at a pharmacy reception is entered into a host computer through an input device. On command of the host computer, patient data are transferred to respective drug processing units. Each processing unit enters time data including drug preparation completion time into trays with a memory function for collecting drugs prepared. The drugs collected in each tray are inspected and sent to a drug pickup window, where the time data are transferred to a data processing unit. Based on the transferred data, a total processing time in each station is displayed on a display.

  • Patent number: 6083411
Abstract: A method of forming adjacent ink and dilution solution nozzles in an orifice plate includes first providing an orifice plate having a thickness dimension. A first nozzle is then formed having a first orifice extending through the orifice plate at a first angular orientation that is generally normal to the thickness dimension. A second nozzle is then formed having a second orifice adjacent to the first orifice and at a second different angular orientation. One of the first and second nozzles is the ink nozzle and the other of the first and second nozzles is the dilution solution nozzle. • Patent number: 6081662
Abstract: In a trench isolation structure having active regions at a main surface of a silicon substrate isolated by providing a gate electrode on an insulation film formed in a trench with a gate oxide film thereunder, the insulation film has a vertical cross section configuration wherein the carrier concentration of the active region at the proximity of the upper edge corner of the trench becomes lower than the carrier concentration at the center of the active region in a state where a predetermined bias voltage is applied to the gate electrode. According to this structure, electric field concentration at the edge of the trench isolation can be relaxed and generation of an inverse narrow channel effect suppressed. Therefore, the subthreshold characteristics can be improved.
