  • Patent number: 7032813
Abstract: One or more office instruments FM1 to FMn attaches a tag Tg to sheet and image data documents when a document is to be processed, and transmits the document image data to a security administrative server together with the security tag Tg to be stored there. The security administrative server compares incoming image data and security tag Tg with those already stored in a security file, and transmits a comparison result to the applicable office instruments FM1 to FMn. The applicable office instruments FM1 to FMn then either allow or reject document image data processing based on the comparison result.

  • Patent number: 7010695
Abstract: An information input-output system comprises a mobile communication terminal, and a host computer that performs communications with the terminal over a radio transmission line and has a database relating to services that can be provided to the user of the terminal. This system also comprises an input-output gateway server that verifies whether the user is a subscriber who can be provided with a variety of services, and an input-output control unit that receives data from the database over an established line and then outputs the data.

  • Publication number: 20060046178
Abstract: An electrostatic latent image developing magenta toner includes at least quinacridone pigment, naphthol pigment, and a release agent. Colorant of the toner satisfies conditions (a) and (b): (a) an average primary particle size D50 of a quinacridone pigment represented by formula (1) and an average primary particle size D50 of a naphthol pigment represented by formula (2) are such that the average primary particle size D50 of the quinacridone pigment is smaller than the average primary particle size D50 of the naphthol pigment; and (b) the average primary particle size D50 of the quinacridone pigment is greater than 20 nm, and the average primary particle size D50 of the naphthol pigment is smaller than 200 nm. Formula (1): Here, each of R1, R2, R3, and R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, and Cl, R1 and R2 are different from each other, and R3 and R4 are different from each other.

  • Patent number: 6022662
Abstract: Disclosed is toner for developing an electrostatic image, which toner has a volume average particle size distribution index (GSDv) of 1.3 or less, and a ratio of the volume average particle size distribution index (GSDv) to a number average particle size distribution index (GSDp), i.e., (GSDv/GSDp), of 0.95 or more. A method suited for producing the toner for developing an electrostatic image comprises the steps of producing a dispersion liquid of flocculated particles by forming the flocculated particles in a dispersion liquid containing at least resin particles dispersed therein, forming adhered particles by admixing a liquid dispersion comprising fine particles dispersed therein with the dispersion liquid comprising the flocculated particles so that the fine particles adhere to the flocculated particles, and forming toner particles by fusing the adhered particles upon heating.
